jazzy, have you measured the original inductors with your new shinning meter? in uH?

pls measure it and "report" here
not sure it is my inductance meter problem or what...my meter read 5uH..

Well, difficult to find 12V SPMS for lappy, most lappy voltage range from 15V to 20V.
If you could find one, it just works fine

Yet to test 1.5A SPMS as my T-amp lying on the "operation table', gonna replace 20k volume VR to 100k one, and change the coils to thicker wire one as well...stay tune!

I doubt you got extra place for old junk => me lah

Make sure you get the right trans as many are using thin copper wires, I believe thicker wires will give better results.

Btw, what is the function of that 4 inductors in our t-amp?

Me too not expect too much improvement over inductors as they located at output stage, the effects might not be as obvious as input caps

hehe...I wanna go down stair and burn some extra hours for my t-amp too

I guess it will affect the frequencies (like crossover) more than give impact to the soundstage, but if the value out too much maybe noise/humming will occur
