Anyone can recommend a good dive centre?

Last month i did diving with Quiver Long Beach and it's the best diving experience i've ever had in Perhentian!!
i end up doing my AOW with them
Funny bunch..mostly british instructor/DM.

I think it's the most worth it diving price i could find on the island too!! DM me for the price.

Pls go there and check it out!!

I've started to gain trust with Peninsular East Coast diving since diving with Quiver.

Do they charge extra if you ask them to label it fragile?
Will do. I'm not sure. My bf settling everything. tongue.gif RM300+ I think. 3D2N.
I'm actually just tagging along my dive instructor as he has a few rescue and open water students to certify. I go to kacau them. lol.

Nope...They don't charge extra. But mostly I fly with MAS, so diving equipment are free of charge.

I have dove Krabi using Kon-tiki as my guide. Visibility around 20-30m and Hin Daeng/Hin Muang or Shark point are top spot there. A bit far to travel but its worth the journey.

Thank you sir, just wanna know how long does it take to reach Hin Daeng/Hin Muang from Ao Nang (by speedboat / long tail boat?), and how much does it cost for transportation, how much do you pay for a dive (with gear rental and boat)? smile.gif

Thank you very very much!!!

Its a long journey by triple engine speedboat. If I'm not mistaken around 2 and a half hour from Ao Nang and its takes a lot of money to dive there. If you dont want to be on boat for so long, try to begin dive from Koh Lanta. Travel time might be half. From Krabi, 2 dives trip THB 3500 and 3 dives trip THB4200. I'm doing safaris start from Krabi and end up in Lanta, total for about 20 dives for around RM3k

Salang/ABC are well known for budget chalets and also laid back experience. If you are into budget on this area, try to look at Bamboo Hill, YP Chalets or mawar chalets. About 35/nights for fan unit and 60-80/night for aircond.

Haha...Its far. One is north and another is south. For me, Paya are ugly when low tide. How much Sealantis charges per dive?

Hmm...i think its

70/ 1 dive
65/ 2-4 dives
60/ Above 5 dives.

BCD + Reg = Rm50/day

I'm wondering, a few of my friends including myself is planning to take the course.

but what i heard is if ur eardrums hurt while submerging underwater, then it is best not to take the license issit?

if that is so..where can we try it out?

there was once i rmb submerging at least 9 ft down in sea water near the shore and my ears hurt like mad..

You have to equalise the pressure in you and also the water, which you will learn when you take the diving course. Most can equalise, don't worry. smile.gif

I heard if the dives are cheap, the accommodation is expensive. And if the accommodation is cheap, the dives are expensive. Is this true?

You'll learn how to equalize your ears when going deeper under water. It's one of the most basic diving skill.
If every diver ears hurt like mad underwater with no solution, don't you think there will be lesser people learning diving? Lol.

You can ask any dive center for a Discovery Scuba. It's usually RM100-200 like that where they'll take you underwater with all the diving gears. If you do it on mainland, they'll most likely let you do in swimming pool which doesn't really serve its purpose IMO, do it at an island and you'll truly experience what diving is about. smile.gif
