V2 for this thread already, good good! but I think there should more updates on the first page. For example, current and latest firmware. Software recommended.

I went to test the phone already it quite slow even though there is nothing in the phone memory. Even it comes with the latest firmware. Forget the code already, hope you all can update the first page. Now I'm not sure whether to get this phone.. or c902 or g900. what is your opinion?

Just got my phone at this evening...it's beautiful~

I did a survey b4 i bought it...a blogger stated just treat the phone like a computer...mean all the install and uninstall procedure is same as computer, right?

Regarding GDesk, I haven't tr it b4...what i know is I should install the software (now is V0.31 right?) then what?

I bought mine RM1,950 about 6 months ago, now RM1,300. drop so fast.

Anyway, no regret and love it every single second

To install application, just use PC suite and follow what the screen told you to do (same procedure as in computer) . The other way if you already copy the installation file in your phone is by selecting 'View" on the file, and it will start the installation process.

To uninstall, go to Tools > Control Panel > Other > Uninstall

No hang problem so far after i install GDesk and install themes and .gdd files...The software make my phone 'become / look like' other brand phone (screen only )...currently using iphone setting

It's normal for handphones, the prices always go down after a few months. Anyway, I'll be getting a W960i next month to replace my old phone. It's something practical and I like the design and layout of the keypad, feels very comfy on my hand.

Dudes, I'm thinking of getting AP set for this phone but the AP company is MPS, has anyone heard of this before?

i've had a very bad experience buying an ap set, i bought my w960i in may 2008, before this i never buy an ap set, but i decided to try n finally i got my w960i at lowyat an ap set from comsat.

about 3 weeks ago, the touchscreen is not functioning and the screen looks kind of oily. so i sent it to comsat at maluri. they 'mati-mati' said that i dropped my phone in water, and i was trying to cheat them. so i asked them to open it's housing then only accused my oh cheating. only after that they said that i'm right n it is still under warranty.

so after 1 week my phone is ready, so i checked it, but i found out that there is something wrong. the font is too halus, then i checked the status to see the software version. it have two version of software, and there is something written like CPU_))HELL. i asked the tecnician, but he said that it is the latest software. f*uk you!! he thinks i'm as stupid as him! so i just went home an update the software myself n problem settled.

but then only i noticed that there is like kemek on my housing, i guess it happened when they try to congkil out my housing to replace the touch screen. arghhhhhhhhhh this is the last time i'm buying an ap set.

Sorry to hear that, really unprofessional repair done by an AP company. That's why I'm a bit reluctant to get an AP set for that, but heck it's too expensive for the original. If it wasn't because for some reason, I would've wait till the price for the original to drop then I'll purchase it.

Luckily on Sunday I did not purchase the AP set from Comsat because I wasn't familiar with the company itself. But thanks for sharing it.

sad to say my phone is facing the similar fate. Touch screen is not responsive at certain locations. It all just suddenly happened.

Also seeing some issues on the screen. According to SE service center, its due to moisture stuck between the screen and screen protector.
Now phone is so unreliable, halfway talking the hold function is enabled. Its pretty annoying. Also phone will auto restart.

Guess is the first and last SE touch screen I'm going to purchase.

Headache again trying to figure out what next phone to use.

i having the problem that, when i buy the w960 my classmate borrow it from me and take a his photo. but i hate tis classmate bcoz alway scold me and feel that IT polluted my phone. so i decided to delete the picture and it stored at the phone memory and i cant even delete it from my phone, everytimes i try to delete it but i cant. can any1 teach me?

guys u all using what mode for the phone ah~ our phone got 3 kinds of setting

1.Business Mode (showing all ur calender tasks and inbox at the main screen)
2. Walkman Mode (showing ur walkman at the main screen directly)
3. None (showing a big clock at the main screen)

Note: i just realize that using walkman mode, our visualization doesnt lags at all

i dunno y cant delelte the picture. i had mark the picture and then click more n then choose delete but once i click delete the picture still remain in my phone. and then i try to move it to the media side and then use computer to delete it but the phone shown that it is unable to move or copy...really kacau bcoz not familiar to this phone...haiz...

I think those themes were created using gdesk? You can try to search the forum for the gdesk application and how to use. I think page 1 of P1's thread got the link....i'm still learning how to use it, can't seem to get all the iphone icons to work properly

another question, my phone can go online, use fring etc using maxis wap 3g.... but when i connect to some wifi network if won't work
how do u know u're using the wifi network only and not using ur 3g to go online? will it switch automatically from wifi to 3G? dun wanna pay without even knowing it... hahahaha, thanks!

i also dunno wor, bcoz i nvr use my phone to on9 yet.^^ but today afternoon i spend around 4 hours to find the icon of iphone adi, there are so many. and i successfully install the unlock using in iphone(slide only unlock the keypad). but i for got the website adi if u wan i will try my best to sent to u

just disable wifi.. so u can't use wifi even there r coverage detected...
and of course u r using ur 3g if u can online n ur wifi disable

haha, of coz i know that.... actually what i wan is the opposite, i wan to use wifi without using the 3G connection (yeah i'm a cheapo wan to use free connection hahahaha)

coz i noticed that the icons are the same (the little small globe) when u're connected to the internet, just that in wifi mode there's an extra symbol and it's blue if it's connected... unless the phone will only use one type of connection at a time, meaning if i'm using wifi it won't connect using 3G? then at least it's clearer... hehe, thanks for your help!

The phone will only use one type of connection when it connected to internet. You were right ,when phone connected using wifi, the wifi icon will turn to blue color together with the globe. If it only connected to 3G, only the globe will active and the wifi icon will be in grey color.

There is a way to choose which type of connection you want to use to connect to internet. Go to "Internet Accounts" in control panel. Then create a new group and choose which connection that group will connect to.

For example, My Internet account have 2 groups.

Group no.1 = "Office" and it will connected using wifi connection in my office.
Group no.2 = "Home" and it will connected using Maxis 3G

When i open the browser (i use Opera Mini) , there will be an option pop up requesting me to choose which group account to use.
