Yes, you need to have a modem, but you can use 3g phone if you have one. smile.gif

EDIT : I finally connected to Celcom, and I don't know why. : shocking.gif  rclxub.gif

Nowadays HSDPA modems are so cheap, do not bother to buy a handphone for wireless broadband, a dedicated modem is much better. smile.gif

but i prefer 3G + henpon coz can grab email, chat, browsing while waiting for something to happen. and having 3G in the phone is better for A-GPS function. faster locking to satellites.

For example, if you pick D68, you just need to pay RM 68 during registration. First bill will include stamp fee (RM 10) and prorate charge (RM 4.39). So, you need to pay RM 14.40 once you receive the bill.

hey folks,

I'm UTM Skudai student... interested to get a Celcom BB soon... any existing user around skudai area can give feedback about the speed and service in this area?

And, what is the recommended (and cheap!) modem that has LAN port? Reason i choose LAN over usb is the antenna (to get better signal?) and planning to share connection with my room-mate later.

Thanks... notworthy.gif

My D68 was activated on 31 July, so I'm still eligible for money back right?
What's the procedure for that too? I'm having headaches on using this service, my pages wouldn't open 70% of the time.
