but i prefer 3G + henpon coz can grab email, chat, browsing while waiting for something to happen. and having 3G in the phone is better for A-GPS function. faster locking to satellites.

same here at Bachang Melaka. only luck will connect to GPRS. most of the times got disconnected.

the connection is back to normal now. But I didn't touch anything to my handphone/laptop. Looks like the upgrading process is an-everyday-progress for Celcom 3G service.

there is no HSDPA coverage at Pusat Bandar Damansara... this is ridiculous...I am inside McDonald now...

just got an info from 1111. Celcom is upgrading by adding 2 new servers to its 3G network. job will complete by 15 November.

i don't think they will complete on due. It's time to downgrade to d68 package.

There are many packages in Celcom. Opt for DATA ONLY which cost you RM68 (384kbps max) or RM98 (HSDPA connection). Do not signup for contract basis with modem included. Buy modem separately. The D68 or D98 package HAS NO CONTRACT!!! You have to SCREAM at the counter to ensure they register you for unlimited DATA ONLY and not daily usage rate. Remember, to SCREAM at the counter....

you guys need to remember that whenever
streamyx is down, Celcom 3G service will
definitely got affected.

as long as streamyx got problem, Celcom 3G will suffer as well...

no need to rant coz they are upgrading till 15th November... (hopefully...)

did anyone receive over-the-air setting for new Celcom 3G configuration?

I've just received OTA setting thru my Samsung i780. This setting change my configuration to "Auto Pick". But the APN remains "celcom3g".

money makes the world go round.... respect makes the world upside down...lol

I hv downgraded to D68. Waiting for the service to recover, then upgarde back to D98.

Click at "New Complaint" button on the right-side of the page. The information needed are pretty straight forward.

If everyone log his report, for sure MCMC will thoroughly investigate. I've done this two times and both complaints were resulting positive impact to my speed. But once the ever-forever maintenance by Celcom in progress, my speed went bad again. Then log report to MCMC, went OK, Then, maintenance, went bad...bla...bla...bla...

And yes, don't forget to attach speedtest screenshot as ur proof. You can attach two screenshots...
