will it alwiz dc n service around mmu melaka area?
*
Yes, it will take place and I was throttled once when I was using D68 and once last month with D98. So be prepared. smile.gif
Nope, I don't face frequent disconnection. smile.gif

QUOTE(jesselau88 @ Aug 1 2008, 11:55 PM)
My bro applied the Celcom Broadband D98 since 2 months ago
and he managed to get the maximum speed of 380kbps downlink with 102kbps uplink
the signal is full (-60 dBm) but with only UMTS available

Area - Taman Len Sen, Cheras, KL
Modem - Sierra 875U

Quite odd that areas in Klang Valley are without HSDPA. smile.gif

D68, after throttled is 64kbps
D98, after throttled is 128kbps

Actually if you want a better connection, always opt for Streamyx, it is better. Apply a new line for yourself. smile.gif
I use Celcom broadband are because I travel quite often and I'm in my final year now, thus there is no use for me to apply Streamyx and let myself tied to the contract. smile.gif

I don't have problems with my Celcom Broadband, the most was half an hour disconnection. smile.gif
Thank God, when I had gone back to hometown only the connection went down in Malacca. tongue.gif

Anyway, tested Celcom Broadband in PD just now, no problem can connect just that can't force it to UMTS, managed to get GPRS 3 bars. sad.gif But surfing was quite smooth. smile.gif

updates.

E-220 going for RM299 with 1 year warranty (unlocked)
to get above price, you need to subscribe to Celcom 3G with minimum 3 month contract.
if my math is correct, RM68*3=RM204
Total=RM503
E-220 modem itself RM499 with 1 year warranty (unlocked)

the D-Link DWM-652 RM579/RM580, seems like everyone not willing reduce the price.

soundsyst64 : what the shop name / lucky no ?
E-220 for RM350
