the place is always full of people and you need to queue outside to get places so i doubt we can sit there for long for a chat.
so we need to set a time. what time would be the best? 8pm?

QUOTE(chizzu @ Jan 7 2010, 11:29 AM) the place is always full of people and you need to queue outside to get places so i doubt we can sit there for long for a chat. How about the branch in Blackfriars? It seems they do take bookings. Lets fix it at 8pm on 15th Jan then. Unless if anyone else has got other ideas. so we need to set a time. what time would be the best? 8pm? I was just asking about the halal issue because I'm thinking of posting this up later. At the moment, I don't think the four of us have got any problems with this? Added on January 7, 2010, 9:14 pmBy the way Chizzu, get well soon! *didnt see geminist post*
brunswick : the place has insane queues during peak time. around 8-ish usually crazy queue and plus 15th is on friday+its usually noisy there as well. may i suggest we eat there then move on to somewhere else if you guys want to eat there. if the place needs to be russell square, then i think strada(italian) is more quiet. but as far as 'pack-ness' its slightly less. or a greek place near brunswick sq, but i dont know how the food is. there's also a few pubs around the area as well... Blackfriars: i should be able to make it. let see what others say This post has been edited by mr lappy: Jan 7 2010, 09:22 PM |

I haven't problem with non-halal food. 8pm sounds just right, in case me course running late, although I doubt. Could join you guys up until 11-ish at latest as I'm still going for course on Saturday & Sunday morning ! So either of you can decide where to meet up and I'll be there !

looks like only the bloomsbury branch is having the penang prawn noodle after checking the menus on other branches.
I am ok with both but our purpose is to taste the delicious prawn noodle right? |

Let's just meet up for a drink and just relax for a bit. It would be nice if we can get something to eat though!

so its blackfriars?
it seems to be quite new :3 OT: maybe we could head to Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese for a drink Charles Dicken used to frequent the pub i heard and its on Fleet Street, one of the famous street mentioned in a couple of famous novels just a suggestion. if there is a muslim joining then i think this is not appropriate... |

Well, let's meet up at Blackfriars at 8pm for dinner and maybe a drink (panda00 - drinks can be non-alcoholic) afterwards.
Luckily it seems to be within walking distance from Temple. I'll give the restaurant a call tomorrow to get a table for five. |
