QUOTE(tuRtL3 @ Sep 18 2008, 12:35 AM) Woo can I join too? I'm from Southampton, a small kampung down south Agreed above. In fact, every small town in England is scenic. Lake district is aced, I had just spent my weekend over there in Windermere, one of the largest natural lake in England. Lots to do there, however, it could be a little expensive in terms of accomodation. Cornwall is a posh place, for posh OAPs. ha...... Bath's another good one, I used to spend my summer holidays there. Further downsouth, towards the west, you could think about poole, dorset where it has spectacular seascape & sunset (the renowed lulworth cove & durdle door), etc.......If you're thinking about Scotland, you better go far up north, toIsle of Skye, Shetland, or the highlands on mainland like Inverness. Too bad can't attend the gathering still in KL Added on September 18, 2008, 12:41 am Nobody entertains this poor dude here. I don't really know as I haven't really been traveling a a lot inside UK. If you like very 'English' places, Bath would be a good place to go. If you're more into scenery, I heard Lake district is nice, Cornwall is not bad too ( but it's relatively less convenient to get there ). Not sure about the prices though. Missed my good old days, in Scotland |

The menu looks great ! Reasonable price too ! I'm afraid I would be quite late after the course, I'm looking at, probably about 8-ish. Would that be alright ?

I haven't problem with non-halal food. 8pm sounds just right, in case me course running late, although I doubt. Could join you guys up until 11-ish at latest as I'm still going for course on Saturday & Sunday morning ! So either of you can decide where to meet up and I'll be there !

I'm still waiting confirmation from the course coordinator, it could be either at guys hospital (which would be northern/jubilee line); otherwise st thomas (which would be district / circle). Will let you guys know latest by Mon/Tues. So have you all decided where to dine out yet ?

Hello all, I've had confirmation from the course coordinator. I'll be at Guys hospital, therefore the nearest tube station is at London Bridge. In addition, there is a change in course time so I'll be finishing at 17:20 the latest. So how's the booking going on so far ?

Well, I had plenty of the italian in the last few weeks. I am hoping to have some oriental/asian food. Well, dining out alone will definitely be a problem. But will see how it goes, I might be too tired from the course and would end up having fast food or grabbing a sandwich.
