As it was a new car , thought that the paint was suppose to look like that , until I started to touch on detailing which only I got to know its a paint defects yes its a *Weekly drive car For me , people who drives a car should also need to know how to take care of their car inside out not just drive it Btw , is there any bad sides for polishing the windscreen ? I mean long-term one , as my wiper judder when raining 2. my car roof top got water mark which cant be removed by washing it nor waxing it , any other way to remove it beside polishing ? which i leave it to the last resort This post has been edited by wilsonjack228: Apr 2 2010, 02:10 PM |

Lets say the car is pretty dirty
Can i just hose it down and wipe it with a microfibre cloth? Any bad issues if i use my hand and wash? Sometimes when wetting the car, i tend to use my palm, fingers to just remove the dirt/dust on the car off. |

QUOTE(xDjWanNabex @ Apr 2 2010, 08:31 PM) Lets say the car is pretty dirty If really dirty I suggest to wash using wash solution. yes u can , but must take caution as the dirt might scratch the paint job . Might scratch the paint also using the hand as u wipe , the dirt is being pulled. better off using a good microfibre Can i just hose it down and wipe it with a microfibre cloth? QUOTE(xDjWanNabex @ Apr 2 2010, 09:31 PM) Lets say the car is pretty dirty i guess that is the most expensive cloth u will ever get.....its a human skin & thats yours....i use too do like that initially ...till i found the correct method.....the old school of thoughts is 2 bucket wash ...1 bucket of soapy water & another bucket of water to rinse yr microfibers or wash mith,,,,problem is this...very trouble some & required long timeCan i just hose it down and wipe it with a microfibre cloth? Any bad issues if i use my hand and wash? Sometimes when wetting the car, i tend to use my palm, fingers to just remove the dirt/dust on the car off. now i discover ONR optimum no rinse wash...i can still wash my car without rinsing it all over again after my shampooing-- all i need is diluting 1 ounce of ONR bo rinse solution (not soapy at all) & then 8 litre of waters....i can wash liow with 3 micro fibers 1st to soak into the ONR bucket & 2nd & 3rd microfibers to wipe dry... initially i read the same thing i type now...hard to belive but ...till i tried it now....i know i always do a50/50 comparission the side that is not ONR washed water still retained there..but the side i wash the ware just beads down... i will post u some pic QUOTE(wilsonjack228 @ Apr 2 2010, 09:38 PM) If really dirty I suggest to wash using wash solution. yes u can , but must take caution as the dirt might scratch the paint job . Proton Exora detail with ONR and other Optimum products.
Just got a shipment of ONR and some samples of other OPT products directly in from the US. I have been using ONR for some time and thought it was fantastic. Couldn't wait to try out all of the other products. Tried out the Optimum Polish II, Optimum Finish, Opti-Seal, Optimum Car Wax and Optimum Instant Detailer. Before. As is usual with a white car, lots of baked in dirt and stains in the paint. ONR wash. 50/50. Done. The results from using the other OPT products were fantastic but what really blew me away was how EASY it was to achieve those results. Posted a full step-by-step in depth review of every product on my blog: http://prodetailing.blogspot.com/2010/04/optimum-exora.html |

Orange peel lah. If affordable, I might consider it.
Saw that Ace Hardware is selling Bayes Waterless Detailer or something. Supposedly no need water to wash the car. Dunno why it is called a detailer though. |
