Haha. I don't know how to say. Maybe not penalty. I have try to rank some keyword. Before my blog inactive, the post rank around 1 or 2 page 1 but in 5 month my blog not active, no new post, no new backlink, no internet, i see that all the rank keyword post go to page 3 and above. I don't know, maybe penguin update because around april google have new algo.

Oh, ranking drop lah. Hehe. I thought they suspended your account.
Old post with no new backlinks going in will automatically drop down the chart. It's natural lah. They didnt penalise you. Just some other websites are doing better with more updates and more back links after you disappear for 5 months.

You can easily solve this problem by getting 5 - 10 high ranking PR backlinks. PR7 to PR10

Hi all

One of the way perhaps is writing in frequent basis and also need to have passion for it. Sincerity to share and help others are important too. I have been a blogger for years and since 2008, I went into stock market and started to blog about my trading journey. I think knowledge sharing is important key too. It is natural, we do not need to push on such to top in the Seo etc etc. I don't kow about all those things. I m too old for IT stuff. Haha.

Anyway, visit me at http://cpteh.blogspot.com and do comment. I m too busy to blog these days but since blogging is part of my thought sharing, I will still keep it updated. We could only gather appreciative readers and ignore those others who may find our writings not to their likings.

p/s: One more question: How do I limit the content of my posts on the "home page" to like 50%. Meaning on the main page I have a maximum of 3 posts shown but each post only shows about 50% content. Click on the post to load up the entire post with all the words and images.

Hello, i'm trying to get my site indexed...how do i know if i'm indexed or not? Cuz the site seems to be not indexed and almost 1 month oredi

search on google using this--> site:yourdomain.com

if your site appear, then it's indexed already.

If not, then write a 500 words article (that contain links to ur site) and submit to ezine, articlebase or goarticle, and ping the article.

BTW, If your content is original, usually you don't need to do any promotion to get indexed.

If your site is a blog, register a webmaster tool (bing and google webmaster) and verify you site. Then, submit your sitemap to get indexed.

It does but not much.

it's involve a lot of factors, like (backlinks,seo optimized article, page rank, and so on)
