Try to combine your blog with your social medial. That will bring in traffic!!

1) always ping your post
2) share to facebook group/pages
3) keep update
4) always drop comment with popular blog (exchange comment)

and also use Facebook (Networkedblogs). It is so easy, every time you write your post (at your blog) it will automatically uploaded at the Facebook..

Facebook is only useful if you don't mind your friends(close and not close) reading your blog. So far, I haven't use Facebook as a tool to promote my blog. Feel so weird la....only my close friends know about my blog's existence.

This is call blogger ma. Blogger is only know to blog. Normally their readers are close friends & family members. They do not know how to market it. If you know how to market it then you already called Internet Marketer.

my understanding is that BE is when the company (i.e. Nuffnang) allocates let say 1,000 views for your blog. Up to 1,000 view, an ads will appear and you get paid although nobody click the ads. Maybe RM5 for every 1,000 views. After 1,000 views, the ads will disappear. Maybe the next day, the same ads will appear again.

Getting involved in social networks seems like a very effective way to drive traffic to blog nowadays.
I can see more and more blogs are going towards e-commerce approach rather than traditional content delivering.

What I am currently doing with my blog is to setup a simple Facebook Page for it because it comes with features such as a like box so that your readers can like your Facebook Page from your blog itself.

With a page, the people that you can target over time will be more than just your family and friends.

But of course, more time is needed to maintain the page.

You will give exposure to your site, but conversion is a different thing.
It depends on your product, website content and offering.
