Hi, I had downloaded the Celcom 3.1.ipcc I had remove the the zip and updated to my iPhone. After that, I reboot my phone, mms and Internet tethering works but the Celcom logo does not show out same as the original "mycelcom". Anyone try the Celcom 3.1 yet?

u mean the logo is the same as the screenchot provided at the first post bro? Nothing unusual then, the file is suppose to change ur logo too

Maxis logo doesn't work on my iphone 3G with 3.1 JB with Pwnage Tool 3.1

Ya that's why i post a reply and ask does anyone try celcom 3.1 before.
here is a print screen of my iphone. From the print screen you can see that mms and internet tethering is enable but there is no celcom logo or even the original MY CELCOM.

Running 3.1 with maxis. Updated ipcc but no logo displayed. Not even the default "My Maxis" shows up now.... really weird. Got it working while i was running 3.0.1... Any recommendations ?

install MakeItMine from Cydia and put MY MAXIS as the carrier name. You'll get the maxis logo

well actually with the telco logos, it comes in a small picture with color.. makeitmine only changes the text...
Realize carrier version is : Maxis 5.0

Yes makeitmine does text, but you don't understand me. change the text exactly to MY MAXIS and the text WILL change into logo.

I got problem just like you but now with method said, I got the logo





P/S: a message to TS, this method is true to those who JB their iPhone using Pwnage Tool 3.1 which got blank carrier logo/text

I had tried on the makeitmine app from cydia. My MY CELCOM finally show back, but why not bannar? Could you share more detail or step how you set it to banner. I had update the celcom 3.1.ipcc before. Thanks for your help.

don't seem to work for me. It just changes the my maxis but no logo. Am running jailbreaked 3.1 iPhone 3Gs. Did not have any problem when running on 3.0.1 last time... Any help would be much appreciated.

i hope i don't any other tweak to make it works. try do put those 2 logo files into Unknown.bundle folder (same place as My_maxis.bundle) via ssh and do the makeitmine trick.

didn't work for me... Hmm how come I got it running immediately when running 3.0.1 huh?

updated my iphone 3GS to 3.1 firmware (JB), but no operator logo display even after installed makeitmine.

So I hope I can recall what i did here

You need to install openssh on iphone and connect to it using forklift or cyberduck if on mac.

Then go into your iphone /System/Library/Carrier Bundles/ folder where "Maxis_my.bundle" folder reside. there is also "Unknown.bundle" folder.

Copy Default_CARRIER_MY MAXIS.png and FSO_CARRIER_MY MAXIS.png you designed/copy before into "Unknown.bundle" folder.

Then use makeitmine trick by enter MY MAXIS, please be advised CASE sensitive.

Please report if it's work. I am going to rejailbreak my iphone to reproduce it.

Here I attached Default_CARRIER_MY MAXIS.png and FSO_CARRIER_MY MAXIS.png for Maxis and Hotlink

Very well said bizkutrai~! I got the maxis logo working fine back now but needing to use makeitmine tool. Juz puzzled why the normal flashing of ipcc file does not work anymore. Was also wondering would my telco name changes correctly when I roam in other country since we hard coded My maxis into it ?

There is a bug in PwnageTool 3.1 and 3.1.3 that caused the carrier text disappear, something about signed code or something. You need to manually do it with makeitmine. Actually, you can display ANY telco logo by put DIGI/Celcom logo into Unknown.bundle folder and use makeitmine with MY DIGI or MY CELCOM!!

You can use fakeAPN, a plugin for SBsettings to temporarily switch your valid APN into fake one. Sometimes, you need to use GPRS/3G to do certain thing. So you can switch it anytime! Do search on Cydia.

i've tried to change the pictures manually on the JB iPhone, but it doesnt show the logo tho... so i downloaded this ipcc in this tread and upload via itunes and it works straight away without any problem. the only thing is that i want to disable edge-3g. using fakeapn but the cellular data still counting, disable it manually yesterday, now the data is not counting... hmmm....

I use fakeAPN without any problem. You can switch on/of 3G/EDGE in SBsettings

i did that. how ever my cellular data counter still counting if there's no wifi and im on edge/gprs/3g
