For MMS, the 25 cents is the base cost for sending each MMS. The extra data charges, depends on the amount of data you upload for the particular MMS. Example, if the picture you sending is 20kb, then the data charges of 20kb+25 cents is applied.

Hi guys, I downloaded the IPCC file and its enabled since I can see the carrier logo has changed and I get the Cellular Network Data option. However, I tried inputting some fake data for the APN, Username, and Password but EDGE is still enabled.

Am I missing something? I thought I would be able to disable EDGE if I input fake data into the settings. Please advise.

I was having the exactly same situation with you but I found a solution an hour ago. Just follow this pictorial and post up your result here. As for me, I've tested and it works like a charm on my iPhone 3GS version 3.0. Upon installation I couldn't connect to anything anymore and I can simply delete the settings and restore back to use my EDGE and 3G again.

go cydia, download sbsetting, disable 3g and edge.. now your phone still can send mms just wont't connected to the internet only.

i use iphone fully unlocked from maxis, can i use cydia app for this phone?

No this action is not consider as jailbreak. You will still have your warranty from Maxis the only consequence is they will be wondering how in the world did you get the Maxis logo. I've brought back my phone with this ipcc to Maxis and this is what I experience.

Erm.. Can I ask which is the ipcc file for Hotlink?? I tried all the Maxis ones and all of them r just Maxis...
