can't wifi?

I upload the files manually and its work!

But my Carrier was automatic downgraded from MYMAXIS 4.0 to MYMAXIS 2.9 now.

@Update,

i can confirm it work on my Iphone OS3 with new Ipcc file, just got o first place to get the file and to enable the Ipcc method.

i even change into new logo and make the ipcc file again.

here the screen shot for it.( i change maxis to Orange logo and make the ipcc file for it)

weird! i follow all the steps to enable ipcc but still unable to open the file :(any idea?

after change the carrier.... can still online?

the file must be i ipcc format. example maxis.ipcc.zip. you have to delete the extension for the file. if maxis_3.0.ipcc.zip must be in maxis_3.0.ipcc the itunes can detect it.

i think can online but so far i not try try tethering but the tethering option still there in my iphone. MMS works perfectly fine with me so i believe that the tethering will work. i using maxis btw.



i have upload the file where i compress it again.i hope it can be use.

- i have try download and extract using mac and it seems mac extract it into "payload" folder not into ipcc extension. mac eventually extract the zip file then it extract it again until payload folder comes out. i will try&error and update step to get the correct file etc.


UPDATE:
For Windows:
-I have try download using windows and extract it and it perfectly turn into ipcc file so user can download and direct update in using your itunes.
-So you download it, then extract and use itunes to update the ipcc file
-Done.

names for file for windows:
-iPhone_3.0_Celcom_my.zip
-iPhone_3.0_DIGI_my.zip
-iPhone_3.0_Maxis_my.zip
-maxis3.0Orange.zip

For Mac:
- as for the mac it double extract the file and make it into the payload folder( at least for my mac it turns out like that )here is the guide for those their mac double extract the files.
i have recreate the file if some of mac user have the same situation as me( where mac eventually double extract the zip file then "paylod" folder appear)

names for file for mac( those who are eventually extract the file and it turns into payload folder):
-Celcom3.0mac.ipcc.zip
-DIGI3.0mac.ipcc.zip
-maxis3.0mac.ipcc.zip

Instruction:
1) after you download the file, right click on it and click "get info".
[attachmentid=1037707]
2) click at the name of the file and delete the ".zip" extension, leaving the ".ipcc" extension and press enter.
[attachmentid=1037708] [attachmentid=1037710]
3) it will ask if you want to keep the ".zip" extension or change into ".ipcc" extension.
4) click at ".ipcc" extension then it will turn into ipcc file and you are ready to go.
[attachmentid=1037711] [attachmentid=1037714]
5) update using itunes and Done.


i will update on how to create the custom operator logo later.

Here i will show on how to change the operator logo into the logo you want to.
-i can only use mac because i dont know how to change the logo using windows.
-i will try to explain as much as i can and hope you guys will understand.


Here is the instruction:
1) first you download the carrier bundle Ts upload in the first page
2) extract it and payload folder will appear. go into the payload folder and you will see "namefile.bundle" inside the folder( i using maxis)
3) right click at the "bundle" file and click at show "package contents"

4) then replace the others logo into the bundle contents and make sure the "name" and "size" including the "resolution" same as the original file.

5) after you replace it. then close the windows and the compress the file.
6) after you compress it right click and click at "get info"
7) change the extension from "zip" to "ipcc" and you are ready to go.

btw brother takano how u extract the ipcc file out from ur iphone ? coz i would like the modify the ipcc file base on the 1 im currently using

oh if your mention about the extract the ippc files im not sure but i know where the place of the carrier bundle on iphone. it's in

root>User>Library>carrier Bundle.bundle there. and you can change the logo from there and try to restart. i have done it countless time during OS2 but for OS3 it seems the logo won't change for me, try to do it on your iphone and see if the logo can be change manually from there and do let us know the info hehe..

if ur itunes doesnt have the ippc option type in the command below


1. Go to Start -> Run (
2. type in "command" and hit enter
3. Type/copy+paste this into the command console that comes up: "C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1
4. Hit enter

anyone of you guys have the operator logo files for Singapore?

I have downloaded and change the extension to .ipcc. However when I try to update, the file is not highlighted and I cannot select the file. What have i do wrong here? Help

i still cannot understand how do u do..run terminal from iphone or "iphone tunnel suite"? i cannot get to update ipcc via itunes..plz help me coz i need my mms function..

I want to change my biteSMS to the default messages icon too..

Look for this mate in Cydia: 6 iPhone 3.0 Icons. Do not activate it via Winterboard.

Go to the Librabry/Themes folder and copy the Messages icon out and rename it as biteSMS and place it in your current theme icon folder. Respring.

i'm using win xp sp3..i already follow the tutorial from 1st page..still not get the answer..so i asked opinion here..maybe some1 can help me..

work beautifully after BRO thaisxs gave the wonderful guide to launch the 'cmd' and enter the command as listed to enable ipcc selection.

someone please help...i have tried so many times but i still cant select the ipcc from itunes after following iclarified instructions...anyway i can ssh the file to the phone???
