sorry i have to disagree..if you take the alor gajah way and exit at simpang ampat toll will roughly save you rm3 but a lot of start stop at traffic lights u rather pay the rm3 and take the highway till ayer keroh.Cheapest alternative is Alor gajah-->seremban--> sepang--> exit at klia toll but takes at least 1hour longer.
Travel after midnight theres a 10% discount.

Now I'm confused.

Alright, I'm going to Malacca from KL. Let's say Sg Besi highway there head to Malacca, but I may stop by at Seremban a while too. So which exist to use will be the best. Assuming that my departure time at Malacca will be around 3-4pm? unsure.gif

Lotsa traffic lights -yes..so depending-lah..but it's been ages I use Ayer keroh bck to m'cca...Fir even more kiasu which I did it numerous time, use:

Putrajaya>>Sepang F1>Lukut>port Dickson>>Kuala Linggi>Sg Baru>>Masjid Tanah & Tg Minyak-Ayer keroh h/way b4 entering M'cca..100% toll free from putrajaya.. rclxm9.gif ..This way..exactly 3hrs from puchong compare to 1.5hrs via higway.. smile.gif

@skysherly..pretty much depending how fast u want to reach M'cca..If u willing to save RM3 toll & Ok wth 1.5hr journey, use Alor Gajah but lotsa traffic lights along the 25km freeway to M'cca. If u want faster way..sometime only 1.15min from sg besi to M'cca, use Ayer keroh but pay xtra & more KM..or kiasu like me..3hrs via Port Dickson way blush.gif

Can skip newton..the zoo is nice but..personally i dont like to see caged animals.hehe if ure interested pls go ahead. River cruise at night is quite scenic but if you dont have the time can just take a walk along the paved stretch along the riverside.(Ive parked near the famosa chicken rice balls in town and walked till Mahkota parade along the river). Pork satay if im not mistaken closes by 4pm (the one near kota laksamana)

What coffee shop is that with the steamed bread?
*
Skip Newton? unsure.gif I'm not sure if I want to go ahead to the zoo or not, doubt if anyone will likes to see caged animals. Well, the river cruise is making me more excited for the trip so I will definitely spare out the time for it. As for the pork satay, they close so early meh? unsure.gif

I can't remember what's the name of the coffee shop but I know it's located at the corner shop. They got the crispy bread too, but I prefer the steamed bread!!! tongue.gif

Newton is a lame foodcourt, something like mingtien in kelana but expensive and they ppl there are quite..rude and unhelpful. Zoo..very nice and green, pretty big and the animals look happy but personally not my thing. Pork satay im quite sure about the one in kota laksamana, the others in not sure. River cruise try to go at night, maybe around 8-10pm. Jonkers most stalls close by 11.30-12midnight.Park a bit far from jonkers area and walk there, less hassle and you wont get caught in the jam.Try the baba chendol or fried ice cream if you havnt b4.

also theres a fort called st.paul semabok,no tourists go there and the view from the hilltop is quite nice if you like some peace and quiet away from ppl and tourists.

Find out for me where is the bread place youre mentioning..

Whoa, alright then I will definitely skip Newton. I'm fussy about food and even more fussy about service. I know Malacca Zoo is the second biggest in Malaysia right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Oh, I guess I have to find more source about the pork satay already. That's one in my list that can't miss out!!! Yea, I've plan to spend my night on the river cruise, it takes about half an hour right? May be I should have reserve 1 hour for it. Which baba chendol you are talking about? If it's the one in Jonker street then it's not my cup of tea. I prefer cendol with gula malacca and fresh santan smile.gif Oh yea, I plan to park the car at Fenix Inn since I'm staying there then walk all around Malacca!!! Will that be good? tongue.gif

Where's that St Paul Semabok ya? Will it be dangerous to go at night? I will try to find out the bread place I'm mentioning. Seriously it's nice tongue.gif

my ex house owner runs the ice cream stall at the zoo main makan area, his kiosks name was mr yeo tongue.gif zoo is pretty tiring,be sure to bring a big bottle of water.

St paul at semabok..hmm i have no idea how to direct you..ur familiar with melaka roads? yep dangerous at night if 1-2 ppl or for girls..if a lot of guys just go only

Interm of area size, M'cca zoo probably the largest in Malaysia but interm of varieties of animals, It fall short of Zoo Negara & taiping.

St Paul hill is not in Semabok. It's on top of A Farmosa...The semabuk one is St John hill featured in fyling toger hollywood movie way back in the 60s'/.. very narrow lane going up there...at the junction of the roundabout

The thing is, I don't want to drive near to jonker street there. I've seen how rude those people and I got to take care of my darling car. >"< lolx. Don't want later come back with a big scratch! I will for sure go to the Portuguese settlement there, that's the problem because of too many places that I want to go and too many nice foods that I want to eat. This makes me wonder if 2 days one night will be enough or not.

So can I get some discount for that? Lolx. Well, I know it's tiring so I won't put that as first priority. I may skip that too. erm, if it's dangerous then I may not be going there already. Don't want to put myself at risk.

Oh yea, how can I forget the nce pineapple tart?!!!! By the way, is there anything nice or special to buy from Malacca? tongue.gif

Area size so big also useless if don't have enough of animals. I don't want to go there to snap empty cages only.

So many hill? Er.... So I think it's not recommended for me to go right? Since it's narrow and dangerous unsure.gif

I don't mind to drive up there but my only concern is the safety. If it's dangerous, I won't want to put myself at risk at all. If not then I will try it out since I don't think I will be sleeping so early there, or perhaps I may be awake the whole night too tongue.gif

Foot massage... Is there any nice foot massage around in Malacca which is slightly different with KL? I'm a person who can really walk around geh, so I think should be alright tongue.gif

Stimix can guide how to get to teh St John hill? Let's say I'm leaving from Fenix Inn, where should I head to? I think the narrow lane is still alright, just drive safely shouldn't be problem.

got people exercise at late night? hmm.gif I'm still unable to plan for the Malacca zoo yet at the moment, I will need to wait till this Friday after I'm slightly free then only can really plan it out. sweat.gif
