I would not suggest any hotel since you can go any hotel anywhere

My suggestion :

Sampan Bistro - Seaside Western Restaurant located at Pantai Klebang. It have good ambient and of course candle light dinner. If you tell the manager, it was special day, musical band will come and play at your table.

If you have GPS, maybe this coordinate will help you a lot

Coordinates: 2°12'13"N 102°13'37"E

Thank you for all the feedback!! For the hotel, its ok she will be staying in her company assigned hotel. The most important part is the romantic atmosphere.. BTW do they have contact no.? Coz not too familiar wif Malacca.

u want to make it romantic?

it does not necessarily during a course of meal

u dont even need any food pun

just u and her. on the beach.

u drive her there. cover her eyes.

lit the candle and glasses and drink

and please, find a spot with no other people. or else, she might be very malu.

a good suggestion would be the hotel's beach for privacy (the hotel shes staying!)

forget about sampan. the place is not nice anymore, especially after they've reclaimed the land. Food sucks.

Try the italian restaurant at Riviera Bay resort. Highly recommended. Food's good and really intimate atmosphere. Usually quite quiet. Go earlier before the pub crowd comes in.

The restaurant is outside the resort by the beach. U need to enter the lobby, exit to the swimming pool area, walk down to the beach stairs. The restaurant is hidden downstairs there. Good view of the sand while having dinner. You can request them to set up a candlelight table for you ( i did that during valentines).
