Have you check what spec RAM of your NAS using?

I found out that my DS409+ are very choosy about ram even the spec is match. It need specific type of RAM model or chipset. Damn difficlt to find. So far kingston (kvr667d2s5/1g) and cosair 1g comfirm not working on my NAS.

But the status keep blinking in yellow.
How can I proceed?

Just bought myself DS210j. Currently setting 2 X 1TB WD green as basic as my attempt for Raid 1 went crashed. Not sure whats wrong. Anyway, anybody else using the 2 bay?

Setup problem? My 4bay crash too when half way setup and no power. Got to setup again.

I hear some WD HDD got raid problem. Check it out at synology forum.
