Did you guys test to put 26C temp for your aircond in your room and see how many minutes are taken to reach 26C if your room is in normal temp, say 29.0C or 30C

Does test mean just use the "Normal mode"
Or the "Powerful Mode" on your Hitachi?
There is a noticeable difference in these 2 modes.

I tried the "Powerful Mode", the 2nd,green, button and it does cools down the room quickly,by feeling, not by exact temperature measurement.

Honestly, I dont even bother to "benchmark" the time it takes to cool down the room. I just trust the BTU cooling rating. Higher is always better.

I tested with the lowest fan speed. Seldom test with turbo mode.

The weird thing is, I set the temperature to 26C and my room temperature as measured by the temperature sensor has reached 26C, 25C and 24C but the compressor is still in running until I set the temp from 26C to 27C. Then only the compressor stopped running.

Wonder how accuracy is the temperature measurement sensor found in the clock.

Hitachi aircond is belong to professional series , you must choose either wide flow or low btu and high btu model also available , pls check before you buy next time dont just complain for blindly , Hitachi definitely as good as mitsubishi , and this 2 brand definitely professional's choice! I bought the Inverter series for my parents , till now kicking and rocking , better than carrier , york and so on , if looking for just cold purpose , extremely cold purpose then york , and other cheap choice will do , but when comes to health concerned , hitachi and mitsubishi is something you should pick

Have a nice day smile.gif you definitely wont regret for what you have purchased for long term
because you will be saving quite alot on electricity bill , if you having york , u will be paying sky high electricity till you kantoi!

The air-conditioning unit only sense the air around it's indoor unit or at the evaporator coil.
Where you put your "room temperature" thermometer, it's a subjective matter.

And usually, non-Inverter units are less accurate in "exact temperature" than Inverter units. Is yours an Inverter unit? If it's not, then you should not complain much and just "enjoy" the air-conditioning unit rather than sulking much over it.

yeah, its cool. But I dun know how the hour works. If I choose >1 hour, for example 2 hours, it'll be cool for 1 hour
and not cool for another hour. It seems like it cool for 1 hour if I choose the hour base operation. If I on it only (without
choose hour operation), it'll be very very cool at very fast speed. So i wonder if u choose hour operation. Maybe I duno
how to use hour operation.

hi, i am installing wiring system for aircond and heater soon. I was given to choose 2.5mm and 4 mm wire size. I told that i want the 4mm 1, is it too thick and overkill for aircond? and water heater will be using 2.5mm wire.

i was quoted RM300 per unit for conceal installation. u mentioned RM80-150 is conceal also?

how about the installation (water & copper piping) charges for back to back unit? for installation of back to back unit, do we need to ask the aircond guy to do the installation of water piping and copper piping first eventhough i dun want to install the aircond unit now?

I don't like York. The YWM15G I have in my office is noisy.. Lots of rattling sound despite at the lowest fan speed.

rm80-150 is nprmal intallation bro, not conceal. imo rm300 for conceal shud be good price cause they need to hack your wall and seal back. prepare to be dusty:P
