Even though some filter claim that they can filter contaminants up to 0.01 micron, but it never mention how much is the capacity. I have seen reports some filter can filter 0.01 micron for the first 100 liters water, after that only managed to filter 1 micron for another 300 liters and subsequently as good as useless.
Therefore, it's important to buy a filter with documentation how much water it can filter and what is the quality of the last drop of water in that capacity.

I thin COWAY is doing quite good recently.Product reasonably good and service is friendly. You can either purchase straight away or rent monthly RM100 and above... After 2-3years, the unit is yours.... Anything during the rental period , they will take care of it and on top of that servicing/parts replacement is FOC ..thought its quite worth la RM100...just treat as if you are paying installment lo during this rental period..anyone using COWAY ?? Hi guys... i can recommend you all a great water filter.. eSpring[SIZE=7]
There are many water filtration systems in the market today & almost all claim to do a good job. But how does the customer know which of these claims are valid. First of all, one of the most important things you need to be aware of is that tap water is absolutely poisonous for your health. In recent studies, it has proven that there are 140 different harmful chemicals in our water supply today.
Here only eSpring is the first using ultraviolet technogy which can destroys 99.99% bacteria & viruses. It is effectively reduces over 140 potential health effect contaminants.
eSpring 1) cleaner, clearer & better-testing water 2) healthier, bacfree 3) tested & certified by NSF 4) unique,advanced & leading tech 5) easy installation 6) easy maintenance
Anyone who are interested to getting more can pm me

i think it is important to have a good outdoor filter to protect your tap fittings, then get a reliable indoor drinking filter to filter off harmful contaminants and bacteria. Aquaphor Crystal Eco is about RM 1k+ only and replacement cartridges are cheap as well. QUOTE(bluesfingers @ Feb 7 2009, 04:13 PM) Don't be fool by Cosway Hexagon water... juz investigate their products and my findings are:- i) NSF, WQA and alot of logo being published in 1 page (bottom) of their website http://www.ecosway.com/ecosway/SuperSelect.../hexagon_06.jsp & the logo images look blur. is that copy & paste from some where? ii) The funny thing that i found is the whole catalogue/ product description nvr mentioned about the CERTIFICATION status, Why? are they so humble or what? i believe it's not cheap and easy to get all this body to certify their product. iii) The worst thing is i found out that NSF denied their claimed read this http://www.nsf.org/regulatory/newsroom/cea.asp Anyway i cant say that this water system is not work at all but without all the proved of the efficiency why dun we buy a tesco/jusco type DIY filter. but Hexagon water is comparatively cheap as compare to others like diamond, nesh, etc. which i think they all are using a similar filtration system- Ceramic-Carbon-KDF. gosh luckily i read this i just plan to buy their new hexagon.l
