Some of the tech mentioned are meant for industrial use. ion exchange, demin, RO are some of them.
The cleaner the water is, the more mineral it can remove which including good mineral.
I got a friend that is an Elken seller, keep on boasting how good their filter is and used his father as a selling point. When start drinking the water, the urine are yellow for few days and then turn to clear water. After 2 years, his father has kidney failure.
*
Is not the matter of brand. Is the matter of the RO tech system anyway.
But, since his father is kidney failure, his father only can drink RO water only. RO water is not bad, but it just not good in long-term drinking, and kidney problem person are require to drink RO water only.

Hi guys ,
I'm told by sand filter seller that the FRP will leach chemical over time? Can someone help clarify ?
And anyone heard of this company CK Shoppe Marketing?
Thanks
*
CK Shoppe Marketing? No.
But FRP won't leech chemical over time, the FRP is on the vessel outer layer protecting it. It doesn't interact with the filter media inside of it.

Nope, he trust that drinking pure H2O are good for health.
By drinking such clean water, he has the RO effect inside his body.
For our body to work properly, we need some dirt in our body.

eSpring is your only choice.. rclxms.gif
I heard someone here share before that there was a Philips brand with identical combo tech like eSpring, but the product already discontinued. Not sure how its performance. hmm.gif

We used to have an Amway filter in Brunei. That weird double barreled shape one. Anyways, eSpring is our only choice because it'll meet our needs. Only three of Sabah's rivers are still pristine and most water treatment facilities aren't being maintained properly. The cheapest solution for the water utility provider is to chlorinate the water to kill bacteria but that still leaves whatever chemical pollutants washed into rivers by industrial or agricultural pesticide use. Again, I needed something that removed as much of these contaminants, flouride and chlorine as possible.

If you have a water tank, then you need the chlorine in your water to be filtered after your tank but before your kitchen tap/drinking water. Reason being stagnant water in the tank provides breeding ground for bacteria (cool, wet and dark) so you still need the chlorine (or chloramine) to disinfect the water. As I mentioned earlier, I don't have a tank so my water supply is filtered outdoors and indoors, essentially a three stage system when we get an eSpring.

I think Amway do offer trade-in your previous generation of the water purifier and get rebate, so that can buy eSpring at cheaper price. I bought mine with that kind of method. If I'm not mistaken is RM600 discount.

Is "Vwa" brand, water came out like barley color, and tell you can cure ANY disease! They should propose this Legendary Water Filter that able to cure ANY disease to our Minister of Health.

No thanks to Superb Gimmick! Not sure how their client/customer really capable to cure from those disease/sickness, even the water really do cure it, I wonder what ingredient inside cause the water turn into barley water color or those customer/client stop drinking the water, side-effect? No sure, you think of it. I rather stick with those brand that came with NSF certified.

Overpriced product. No thanks to that, I just did some research on Google.

You can find the same price with FRP(Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer) Vessel which is more last longer if you exposed to Sunlight. I didn't survey on Stainless Steel price, but you can find out the price of it before final decision. I pretty sure that you know the external filter model above you asking for is Sand Filter.

I'm don't do research on those brand that don't even come with NSF certified. So if you looking for bad review or good review, simply Google it, many things will pop out. I'm not sure this brand are using the same name or not outside from Malaysia. So better watch out, as every month you will hear of "just an another" brand that come with "just an another" superb feature on the water filter.

I'm not psycho-ing you, but if your gf's father haven't made the deal. You should really ask yourself, if you are the one who pay for the product and what should you do if you found out the thing is "something" wrong with it. And tell your gf's father about it.

I'm pretty sure you are smart consumer, think of it:
1) What is the purpose of buying a water filter? Is it remove all the bad things inside the water while kept the good things inside the water? Yes is it?
2) If you buy the water filter purpose, is just for the sake of cure-ing some sort of disease, why not you consult doctor?
3) Alright, they gonna tell you a bunch of history on how good and how many people already using the product, no problem and cure everything, why not the company propose to the WHO(World Health Organization) or at least Malaysia the Minister of Health?
4) Well, since the water filter so good, at least a getting a minimum requirement of NSF 42 certified from NSF International? Don't know where? Search HERE. Type the manufacturer or brand name. See you find any of it.
5) If I'm don't recall the price wrongly, it should be RM5k++. RM5,000 you can get both indoor and outdoor filter together already.

This type of thing can only happen here. No law against false sales information and gullible consumer.

Two years ago, when they tried to sell the Dr xxxxxx water filter in HK, launch in the morning, the evening TV news already warning people not to buy this 'scam'.

I have lived in few other advanced countries. Never see any of these water filters.
