If the tower got half of the capacity and price around 7 8k that will be great though. The capacity too large for my small family. Of course that is too expensive

Hi, I plan to buy a washing machine for the first time, so I need recommendation or review from you all.
I plan to buy a front-load type with budget RM 1.8k and my main concern is reliability. After doing some reviews, I able to narrow down to these 3 models: 1. LG WD-MD8000WM (8kg) 2. LG FV1285S4W (8.5kg) 3. NA-127XB1WMY (7kg) / Panasonic NA-128XB1WMY (8kg) I personally prefer LG (especially FV1285S4W) as I saw many people recommend LG over other brand in this thread. However, I saw a youtube review on FV1285S4W, said due to the high-efficiency water rating, it have low water level issue which will cause the detergent not wash out properly. [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzTlIXjpo7I...teve%27sReviews ]. So I wonder anyone that owned LG washer have facing and annoy about that issue? Regarding Panasonic FL washer, I saw some people said it have sensor/ balancing issue and less reliable than LG. This post has been edited by jackchoong0110: Oct 12 2022, 04:59 PM |

Even the most reliable brand can be less reliable if is a lemon unit and no brands can claimed to be faultless. That is where warranty and after sales service comes in. Unless you have budget restriction, go survey other brands and buy the 'best' and pray for the best. This post has been edited by mini orchard: Oct 12 2022, 05:43 PM |

Ya, I understand that every electric appliance can be faulty easily if you are bad luck, and I also knew after sale service are important. Even the most reliable brand can be less reliable if is a lemon unit and no brands can claimed to be faultless. That is where warranty and after sales service comes in. Unless you have budget restriction, go survey other brands and buy the 'best' and pray for the best. That is why I consider Panasonic because I knew its customer service is good even though its washer is not famous compare with other brands. From what I read from various post, I saw Electrolux and Bosh's customer cs are bad, then LG are average. Hence I not consider Electrolux and Bosch washer for now. Toshiba I didn't saw any people mentioned its cs yet, but I saw many said Toshiba only good on top-load, so I exclude it first. After doing more research, now I am considering buying LG top-load, as top-load are should less troublesome on maintenance compare with front-load. TL also have more choice and larger capacity based on my budget. |
