Guys, anyone face beko after sales service, technician came without spare parts first time to inspect and require second appointment for him bring the parts?

Kinda stupid and waste of time despite video taken and given. Assuming the drain pump is the issue as the water cannot be drain out.

I thought this is a common practice?

Last time Electrolux and Midea technician also came to inspect first, then on the 2nd appointment only they repair.

Hi all,

Currently I'm using a 8kg top washer but it's breaking down after 15 years. So now planning to get a front load instead, mainly due to the hot water feature and to save water. May I know is a 8kg front load equivalent to 8kg top load? Coz I'm ok with the current 8kg top load capacity, no need something bigger but not smaller for sure.

Thanks

Also my 1st preference is Panasonic but from this forum I see there are good recommendations for LG. So I have narrowed down to the following few models, with the budget around RM2k.

Would like to see if anyone is using these and how's your feedback?

Thanks

Top load is simple, any brand is fine. I use Sharp and Midea, happy with both.

You're giving the wrong information.

The parts that replace are a heater to create heat for drying. All the dryer either combo or single have this part. Accept heat pump dryer.

This heater has a lifetime and may short to the body earth and trip. So either combo or separate dryer, this heater will die depend on your usage lifetime.

Did you call LG SC or use 3rd party? LG SC don't bring your WM back for repair. They will repair it in your place. It is too heavy.

I m using combo LG CD1212W for 10yrs now.

This is the heater set similar to your wan in my LG combo WM. I open up to clean the lean in yrs 9 of usage.

Recently there is call back for Toshiba washing machine model TW BH105M4M

if yours is the early batch it is better you call up their customer support to arrange replacement.

I'd get a FL model from LG (any one also good). I've only used LG washing machines all my life and each one of them lasted more than 10 years.

for FL is always recommended to use low sud powder / detergent like those from Top or Persil
