Big different between Shop 1 and Shop 2 for Hitachi, I am still surveying the quality and reliability of Hitachi.

10kg will be more practical.
For my case, I usually wash it 2-3 times.

I wash my curtains at self service laundries. They have 13kg front loaders and dryers.

My old washing machine refuse to die. Made in Japan Sanyo ASWU 100T lets see it followed me from the old apartment about 15 years, it developed a defect about 5 years ago. At the end of the cycle it does not stop completely and the clunk noise when its suppose to stop. Repair cost about rm700/=. I can live it that anomaly so I left it.

The problems I had with it was mainly the owners manuals were all in Nippon blink.gif

Now I am looking for something newer.

Prerequisites are :

a) low water consumption

b) low power consumption

c) hot water function

d) as durable as my old Sanyo

The one I am looking at is LG WF-HX120GV, LG site says it uses 16 liters of water per cycle I find this unbelievable.

hmmm lets see the relevance of your face palm...did it hurt ? laugh.gif

Can be warm, its just to get the detergent to work harder. Thats what a chemical engineer I trust said, and I believe you can find more data on the net regarding this.

hot/warm water = less detergent = lower rinse cycle = less water. less cycle = less power.

Which a lot of manufacturers take into account by using different incoming data like weight, water temperature etc etc.

Old skoolers who wash by hand for more times then the electricity gets cut would know what I mean.
