My mom's washing machine just died and I am in a hurry to get her a replacement. Last nite went to look for top loader machine at a shop. The sales person told me that Samsung often got issue with the electronic board. He also mentioned that current batch of Toshiba quality might not be that good after their factory at Thailand was flooded last time. Suspecting they are using back those parts that was soaked wet before... Wondering how true is that...
BTW... should I look for the newer Direct Drive or get back the old school Belt Drive?

wah... older generation Samsung so many problem? Maybe I will try look for Toshiba direct drive inverter model...

Last nite just ordered Toshiba AW-DC1000CM Direct Drive with Inverter. Hopefully it wont be giving us any problem...
