For FL, take the biggest capacity you can afford. Difference in water/electricity usage for a load of the same size, across FL of different capacity is negligible. Modern FL has variable water usage, according to load size. You can wash a 2kg load, in a 10kg FL just fine without wasting water/electricity. Ok.. maybe electricity because you should go optimal all the time biggrin.gif

From my experience, I own 8kg FL...
King size bedsheet + pillow cases + bolster case in one load. Comforter sheet in another load. It's definitely too small for the actual comforter itself. 10kg should be big enough for that.
*
10kg still not enough big. My 12kg just bearable for the comforter.

Makesure the dial mode have comforter/Duvet washing.

May I know how long it takes to get the part replacement for Electrolux? I have been told by the sales person that it takes 1-3 weeks as the parts need to import unlike Panasonic, the factory is in Malaysia (1-3 days).

The following is the WM of my choice (both 10kg)
1. Panasonic PSN-NA140VX3
2. Electrolux EWP12022

I prefer Electrolux FL though (but more expensive =() easier to open and close..

hmm no reply.. between these two which on you recommend? or other brand? I did some comparison Link it seems the Electrolux do not have inverter technology..

What's your typical washing routine, what you want your new machine to do plus size of household? More info like these can get helpful hints and tips from forumers.

Go for the EWF14012. Price difference is negligible.
What kind of prices are you quoted for the EWF12022?
I just placed order for my EWF14012 today.

I think it really depends on luck.

I've been using LG for my fridge n washing machine for the past 6 years. Touch wood, its still doing fine now.

I used to own zanussi washing maching, front loader last merely a decade. Then it fails and it is hard to get spare parts (due to the age).

Then bought GE front loader, a lot of problem from motor bush until the water valve. after 5 years then i decided it is too expensive to repair.

End up with top loader, for the past 7 years still ok. Normal brand Panasonic oni.

I feel the front loader less crumple and better cleaned but expensive.

Did you manage to buy this washing machine and if yes how is it? I am looking at the same model as jintexelectronics is having a promotion now at RM899.
