In similar situation as well.
I'm comparing between
1. HITACHI RV710P7M1BSL 601L 2 Doors Refrigerator, 5 Star 374 kWh
2. SHARP SJP882MFGM 720L Pelican 2 Doors Refrigerator, 4 Star 443 kWh

My only concern now is does Hitachi come with similar feature like Sharp's Plasmacluster Ion Technology & AG CU Nano Deodoriser?

Thanks! thumbup.gif

Hey guys! home is a need of new Refrigerator can anyone recommend a good brand? budget around RM2500.
So currently I'm considering Hisense 2 Door Inverter 700L RT749N4ABVI with automatic Ice maker https://www.hisense.com.my/product/2-door-i...0l-rt749n4abvi/

but looking at the spec page the capacity net look like something is off, the refrigerator net is really absurdly low, I dont need more freezer space because have standalone freezer.

I think you can look around and find something better with 5 stars energy rating

Also try to avoid auto ice makers

Haier is considered the most reliable amongst the Chinese brands when it comes to fridge. Should be ok

The LG is using Smart Inverter.... should be conventional inverter instead of linear one

Personally I'm using Hisense side by side. 7 months in so far ok

LG Smart Inverter is supposed to be better than Linear Inverters type.

Benefit of LG is the LG ThinQ App. If you are looking at Haier, I would suggest considering Hisense too and add on extended warranty.

My Sharp Fridge used to use 4kwh/day. Then in December the compressor conked out so we changed it and now the electricity is 5.5kwh/day. There is also a leak that isn't falling into the drain pan but on the back left of the fridge. What can else can be leaking?

Is it because of Toshiba brand or the model only? Because I'm considering to buy GR-RS780WI-PGY(22) model.

Which brand still reliable as now?
Heard Panasonic is the most popular choice.
Besides Panasonic, what the other brands that you recommend.
Preferable bottom freezer as we have existing fridge using bottom.
Planning to get new for new house later.

We end out getting Hisense 4 Door Inverter 720L RQ768N4ABU due to 3 zone temperature control, and discount on Lazada.
So far so good smile.gif . Its very large and very quiet too, only thing missing is adjustable humidity control on the crisper; We not going to ran out of space anytime soon whistling.gif

I was worried at first it is making crackling noise during first couple hours of power up.
