QUOTE(ozak @ May 15 2014, 10:33 AM) yes, i had that problem. when it was new, they had to change the door seals. there was a small gap right in the middle but after that it works good..... but im just thinking, after many years, you might have to change the seals again due to wear and they no longer touch each other to close the gap |

QUOTE(ozak @ May 15 2014, 10:22 PM) No. I mean the RB6800M. It is only 7.5cm wider. But price a bit high. i havent buy...hehe but might get this model. cos compared to MR-BX52W which is RM5600(Diff of RM1k), & mitsubishi is much smaller and consume more energy compared to RB6200MSo why you brought this model? Even 6.6k not cheap compare many model and brand. |

But not sure the actual usage. The size also smaller even same capacity. Most of this type of fridge is using high technology material to make. Example, the insulation. Maybe you can ask iamsobloodysick@ to quote to you. He have a good price. |

QUOTE(concy @ May 15 2014, 09:46 PM) I paid RM7800 + 780 for 1+4 years warranty in KK. Pricey then coz its new model. Wow! Your extended warranty is expensive. I like everything about it. I saw the latest model with Mirror image (same as RB6800M), price is RM10,500. KL price is reasonable. The mirror image is the something white light blue? Got 1 shop offer me below 7k for their display unit. But don't remember is it B6800 or B6200. How is the power consumption ? This point is important for me to get approval from home ministry. |

Aesthetic wise I like side by side fridge, maybe I grew up with multi door fridge bored of it already. |

QUOTE(mcloudteo @ May 16 2014, 12:06 PM) Haha everyone have their own need for me the added function doesn't justify the 3x cost. It is the the thing we interest/collect/hobby. But we ignore others people interest. It is just a circle of thinking that eventually coming back to us. Hope you can understand what I mean. Hitachi is good choice their appliances always use less energy, maybe more advance in Inverter technology? Aesthetic wise I like side by side fridge, maybe I grew up with multi door fridge bored of it already. It is not just Hitachi appliances always use less energy. Many others do have. Got to search more. The brand here is limited compare western country. Which have more choice to shop around. It is not always about the inverter technology. One of the example advance tech for this kind of fridge is the insulation. Have you notice that with such a big capacity, the fridge size not that big. Inside capacity/space in increase. But able to retain total outer size small. While the inside cool air won't effect at all. That mean the wall is thinner. If you research more, you can find that, they using space material technology to insulate the fridge. If you talk about space technology, all is high tech stuff. But high tech price also. There is a bunch of sensor inside this fridge to detect whatever thing. To reduce the waste, odour and power etc. Hope not easily spoil. Without knowledge about this tech, you won't understand why it is so expensive. Side by side fridge for me is, waste of space. Narrow and thin inside. But fat outside. Got to learn how to save space in small home. Ignore it if you live in banglo. |
