well, it was Ben that sort of bringing them all together
maybe Leia asked Uncle Luke to name his first nephew, and the name Ben pop up?

simplistic view, TFA is essentially a reunion movie for old and introducing new gen characters.

however, the images are incredible. close-up shots of all the starships, xwing, falcon, tie fighters, etc. awesomely detailed and vibrant.

the new shuttle design (Upsilon-class) for Kylo looks weird prefers the old tri-wing imperial shuttle (Lambda-class)

Rey .... she's gorgeous fresh, strong, young, got the dilemma look, her facial expression is perfect.



Rey's vision after touching luke's lightsaber. read some review, a LOT of characters lending their voices!

speaking of Finn .... is it me or his character is unnecessary? haha

Kylo looks like Han. but his hairdo vs his young face, macam turn-off. his speech/wordings when wearing the mask, is percise. wonder if Ep 8 or Ep 9, will his voice get deeper or matured.

i am fine with the lousy sword fight as all 3 of them are not jedi master. but kylo sword skill is shit although he is just a apprentice. anakin during apprentice skill would have tapao him. but this is fine for this lousy sword skill , maybe he is not talented.

but what i cannot tolerate is the use of force ...it was so bloody frequent !!! and the use of force is so shit easy??

i dun think even darth vader or luke able to stop a lazer by using the force when they are just apprentice.

We didn't see it on screen doesn't mean the characters can't do it

Initially i thought he was just really bad with the saber but after second viewing i actually think he's quite skilled. He was just really overconfident with his own ability - most of the time he fought one handed, showing no respect to his opponents. He toyed with Finn; side stepping his attack, letting his guard down, turning his back on him etc. Could have finish him off easily but decided to prolong the duel to demonstrate his superiority. Just pure arrogance. He tried the same with Rey and nearly got himself killed.

The only problem i initially had was with Rey who used the Force like a veteran Jedi. But perhaps she too is naturally gifted with the Force like Kylo.
