@P.I.M.P,
I don't think I've ever had a 'romantic' fine dining treat *gulp*

Some other suggestions to consider would be:-

1) Senses @ KL Hilton (Fusion) - Senses is run by the award winning chef Cheong Liew who is known for the Grange Restaurant in Hilton Adelaide. The restaurant has a romantic atmosphere and really really great food.

2) Zipangu Resturant @ Shangri-La (Jap) - Fusion Jap restaurant, very classy setting, excellent food. Run by the famous Nadaman restaurant from Japan.

3) Iketeru Restaurant @ KL Hilton (Jap) - Fusion Jap restaurant, different kind of classy from Zipangu. Features under the stars dining by the poolside.

4) The Dining Room @ Carcosa Sri Negara (French)- elegant opulent furnishing, within a mansion which was formerly the residence of British Governor.

@andrewcyw,
Bijan's a little overrated in my opinion but it does haf an a-oK environment. I wouldn't consider that as 'fine dining' though *grins*

Hey Tink, that little swiss restaurant in DH is pretty good. I can't remember what it's called though. It's near Hock Lee's.

I was at Lafite during April this year hmm this place is a great place for fine dining especially with your love ones, but 1 thing i was disappointed was about their dress code.

Dress Code
Lunch: Smart Casual
Dinner: Suit for men, evening dress for women

This was stated on their website. When i was there i was the only 1 wearing a suit and i was the youngest, there were people wearing polos, my mood went bad, oh well wearing a suit makes you look good and for sure it does feels good. Their services and chef really did a good job by servicing us, the food was excellent i didn't really like 1 dish which contains fish in it, forgotten what was it because it was a long time ago haha ..ahhh well 1 man's food is another man's poison =D I heard the chefs yelling inside the kitchen its like Hellkitchens Ramsey yelling at everyone haha he really does know how to take care of his clients! So far everything is excellent except for their strictness in their Dress code

1 of the best dining experience in my life was at Melbourne Australia at Nobu in Crowns Hotel! If you guys ever go to Melbourne do try it! Its Japanese Fusion yo!

Heh.. catch any local restaurant enforcing a dress code.. lol they like the money more than they care about the dress code. So long as you don't wear shorts and slippers... smile.gif

That's another thing about Malaysia, there's no class distinction. You have a million, ten million, you eat at the restaurant like everyone else. There's no exclusive restaurant here, where people will turn you away if you don't make a reservation, don't wear a suit, evening dress or polished leather shoes.

hi guys, i am quite surprised no one mentioned qba, westin. it got the most romantic atmosphere to me. and the price is not too expensive 250 for 2 if no wine. 100% satisfaction.

my top 3 place to proposed would be:
1) tamarind spring ( google it) super beautiful and romantic place to propose.
2) qba ( better if you have starwood card) 50% hehe.. my personal secret. eat like king bill come up less than 150 for 2.
but the card exp la.. 600 a year, but a lot of freebies.
3) cafe cafe ( nice atmosphere, romantic and wont burn a hole in your wallet, with appetiser, main and drink for 2 person around total 150

all the best man! good luck . rclxms.gif
