Owh... u tease sweat.gif
I opened the SS full of excitement.. to see vcore at 1.24v.
My heart skipped a beat... can this be? 2.8ghz at 1.24v??? rclxm9.gif
Then i saw 2.64ghz.... doh.gif

Still, its great to see you hit 2.6 with stock vcore. thumbup.gif

Was looking through your mobo bios.
Under SoftMenu Setup there is this -> NB/SB A-LINK Clock.
That smells abit like the ACC in SB750. Mess around with it bro, who knows higher clocks smile.gif

What options u have under HT Link Control page?

lol... i can't promise u that bro but i think 2.7GHz @ stock volt is possible. I'll work on that. smile.gif

nope, dun have that thingy in my bios 13, dun think abit will be kind enuf to have acc on a sb600 board. i still prefer biostar/dfi bios, abit is a 'lil plain seriously... laugh.gif

there's no nb multi option too, but d abit moderator claimed that he has his, i guess it's cpu dependent then... blink.gif

From my oc experience in both platforms

Intel: clinical, easy and very good results, reached my max oc in just 5 days of tweaking
AMD: Lots more parameters to tweak, took me nearly 1 n half months to touch max speed, and I never really got the best from my rams sweat.gif

Fun factor belongs to AMD for all the leceh-ness though tongue.gif

As for the basics, similar to intel except the HTT clock doesnt go as high as FSB, you might wanna watch the HTT link(keep around 1000 for K8), and looses that memory setting(forgot the name, but it had values like 75ns, 105ns so on) when clocking higher. Otherwise its mostly similar to intel

Oh yea......and dont trust the internal temp probe if you're using a Brisbane proc, its broken tongue.gif
