Wow..beautiful gal spotted brows.gif ..i would suggest ur fren go for Q6600 as bro cyloh mentioned it is better than phenom at the mean time blush.gif ..
*
QUOTE(hengmy @ Jul 24 2008, 03:24 PM)
no doubt to go for q6600, coz it offer greater performance compare to AMD quad now, in term of OC it also much much better than x4.
TDP is lower, and does not picky board like amd quad when come to OC smile.gif

QUOTE(8tvt @ Jul 24 2008, 04:10 PM)
maybe he experienced that gigabytes board which has dual bios.. that one maybe i've yet to own once..
but others.. frankly speaking is just good to RMA.. coz not all got same mobo at one time..  tongue.gif

hi all shifu... i just wanna ask something.. is it if i reduce the cpu multiplier the ram multiplier also drop??
example fsb 260 x 12 | 3120mhz | 520mhz 5-5-5-18 | so when i reduce the multiplier to 11 my ram also drop to 485mhz (if not mistaken)  sweat.gif

Proc : X2 5200 Windsor
Mobo : biostar TA770
RAM : 1gb x 2 corsair DHX 4-4-4-12

i also wanna know ir it this proc limit oc till 3.1xxmhz only? coz i cannot run prime stable on above 3.1xxmhz (my ram no prob)
plssss help...thx!! notworthy.gif
*
plz look to the table of ram divider at #3 post.. look for it first

try lowering ur divider, use 400 first.. n push the proc first.. beware with temp

u can tried w/ diff ram dividers to test whether ya chip can hit more than 3.1GHz. some chip dislike certain ram dividers. correct me if i'm wrong...  wink.gif
