from what i know, k9a2 plat is d one that can clock very well, not so sure bout d other. heatpipe could be ya oc nightmare as most of 'em (k9a2 plat & ax78) not makin proper contact originally from d factory. some tweaks/mods needed for 'em to work properly...

nope, u don't need those supa dupa expensive chipset cooler to cool 'em down. some tweaks here & there with minimal cost can do d job ledi. all u need is some imagination... 

mind to tell us what's d exact model of ya board? 

770 chipset based too... how familiar r u with asus bios? they can be abit tricky i must say... managed to get my hand on asus board when i was on s939 & intel 2140. generally asus low~mid range board not so gud, but their premium boards are really top notch. 

if you are not going to cf. take biostar 770 a2+ or ax78 and get better psu.
it maybe not enough for stable oc as well because its not true power.

get at least 550w. i heard gigabyte 550w, silverstone 560 is good.
im saving for pc power 750w. and then you need good heatsink. hypertx2 or xigmatek s1283 if its my choice.
other than that your specification look promising. 

im a hyper tx2 user also. bought at 80 new.
the garage sale sells a corsair 550 at cheap price. i think its better than silverstone and around the same price.
you better look at that. many people also say gigabyte odin gt are better that st56f. do review and dont regret like me.
