Sorry for the late update

Anyway, the phones are definitely unlocked. YAY! New shipment is still from HKG and i dont know which biznatch updated the Apple website saying our iPhones are locked.

Okeh, so I talked to my manager about it. Unfortunately, he wouldn't let me hold the 8 unless I show him the money. He said, first come, first serve. Fair enough. Since I have nothing at the moment, I have to wait until string gets here. We got loads in our latest shipment, but I cant say how many (sorry guys) because we are saving them for customers signing up onto the iPhone plan. Words are flying about that my boss is going to announce "no outright sales until 30th september" at our next meeting. This is so not looking good. Apparently one of our staff sold 6 outright last week to a single customer, and Vodafone is making a big stink about it, even considering pulling the plug on our store so that we cant sell iPhones anymore.

So u see, my job is at stake here. I still can sell them to you, just that I can no longer do the "holding it for certain people" unless i give them some sort of bond. Anything more valuable than the 8 iphones would be my life, and im not giving that one away.
*
Good news all round! So, the "lock status" hurdle is eliminated, only left, the problems of getting them. And getting past customs. Vodafone's being a whiny little b**** is expected anyway.

take a look at [ Here ] for unlocking possibility.

Yeah someone posted that at the other thread. I'd still prefer software unlock tool. But that is if I'm able to get the iPhone 3G.

Sneak peek at what's going on Stringfellow's Aifontriji. tongue.gif

user posted image

First page. Usual boring stuff. Broke the monotonousness with the addition of Weatherbug, next to Weather. Weatherbug gives a more pictorial view of the weather, plus it gave wind direction, good tool for me to know which runway to land in my destinations.

More boring crap. Facebook at the end, is not even mine, it's Sevn. Could'nt get rid of the counter, until I create mine.

Most used apps here are "Tomatoes", "Remote", SaveBenjis" and "PangeaVR". "IGN Reviews" should be next to "Tomatoes" but I've just done an update, so that went there. Will move it to its proper place after this.

The Most Popular Page On My Aifontriji! These games are arranged based on how often I play them, so the top 4 are "Texas Hold'Em", "Scrabble" , "Super Monkey Ball" and "Critter Crunch". All apps are bought , not downloaded illegitimately, I'd like to support these game devs and reward them with their hard work. Cheapskates can GTFO!

The lonely 4 webapps, mostly to view online magazines, and IMing/Skyping.

The Work page. Foreflight for airport directories and preflight planning purposes, Velaclock for quick/easy calculations of across-the-globe city hours, "Starmap" and "GoSkyWatch" for stargazing during those long, boring cruise hours, "Units" for on-the-fly unit conversions, and "Time:calc" for calculating flying hours.

I was hoping to grab "NetShare", a nifty app released yesterday by Nullriver, Inc. which allows tethering of your iPhone to your Mac/PC and use the connection on your iPhone for your Mac/PC. The app got stripped off AppStore immediately yesterday, probably eating into the carrier's profits.

I'm not continuing with the "Tumpang", only provided the Unlucky 15 with an alternative solution.

The subscription alone is more than USD1000, why do you say it is USD400?

@zc_squash,
If U've gone through the multiple discussion threads on the iPhone 3G U'll know where the unlocked sets are being sold around the world; in fact, U can get it off the Apple website tongue.gif

In Asia, unlocked/authorised unlocked sets can be found in NZ, AU & HK.

she would be there for almost a year, yea, its locked currently, bonded by a 18 moons contract, starting with 30 pound. 8gb = 99, 16gb = 159
as she need a phone and line , im not sure whether she could wait till the pay and go contract is available for iphone.

wonder is there any option to pay for unlocking at a furthur stage.... in UK O2 secure the rights for iphone?
