@mustang,
Oh! I didn't know that - well, if that is the case, no choice but to fax/send the request over. @Hybz, No additional reward point thing unless there's a promotion; other than MBB Amex cards which gives 2x reward points for every purchase made. |

@David83,
Yes ur def right; btw I went through the TP PDF - nothing much that's too interesting on it. Anyhow, am wondering can we also just purchase the products at the TP if we don't have sufficient TP points? And, how is this Fair going to benefit the public if they aren't existing MBB CC holders? |

@hye,
Just another question - how would U be able to purchase those items (even on 'Express' where U need X TP points + cash) if U've just gotten the CC approval, unless those who sign up and register that day is given X TP points to begin with isn't it? Or can U purchase those items immediately without needing TP points? |

@arsenal,
Am afraid I didn't pay attention to the amount of TP needed *oops*. Anyhow, I'm quite sure there will be more stuff/products at the Fair than what's stated on the 21 page brochure *grins* |

@vin_ann,
U can apply for a MBB CC at the Treat Fair - in fact on their brochure, it's written that approval on applicants will be given within 60 mins *smiles* @hye, So, U putting in the application next week? Or, is it depending on the salesperson? *wink wink* |

@Hybz,
It makes no difference I think unless the agent hold the application to the bank. If U realli can't wait, U could apply for it during the MBB Treat Fair - it's 60 mins approval. CIMB is also having a similar fair @ KLCC but I didn't take note of the date; just scroll through the last 1-2 pages and U'll get the information. |

@Reventon,
Am sure there'll be some differences; just go check it out on their website - however, I'm quite sure the ONE Card Platinum isn't going to give u the same benefit as the usual Platinum cards |

Yup... 2 weeks minimum *grins* though as I've reported the fastest I've ever obtained mine from HSBC was within 5 working days - now that certainly impressed the hell out of me!

@vin_ann,
Er.. as long as the card can be used, it's got worth isn't it? And what's wrong with MBB CC's? I thought a lot of forumers recommended it; in fact i swapped to MBB Amex just because of the 2x reward points *grins* |

@vin_ann,
It depends on what kind of benefits ur looking for; like what a forumer mentioned, he has a couple of cards; 1 to use at Carrefour, 1 for Giant, 1 for BHP, 1 for Shell, etc etc. What kind of benefits are U looking for? |

@Gary1981,
Yeah I've had my Amex rejected twice thus far *siGh* Btw what's this thing with Parkson & Treat Points claim? I did read that Parkson is what Amex calls their Platinum Partner but unless Ur using the Platinum card, ur TP remains x2 and not x10 - can U clarify? @David83, I suppose it's both *shrugs* but seriously how many of us actually use ALL the privileges? Btw anyone ever used Citibank's airport limo transfer services? I read that somewhere but I can't seem to find information about it anymore; I wonder how that works or what the T&Cs are. |

@Underhill,
You're most welcome - perhaps it's cause it's lunch time but these people should be expecting more calls during those hours *shrugs* Thus far, I haven't had much problems contacting them but I've onli spoken with them like 3x in total; the last conversation was v ugly and since then I've decided to STOP calling the CS unless it's really necessary |

@pangning,
Complementary cards are cards issued by the banks when U open a Private / Priority / Privilege Banking account with them. Most of the time, the cards are offered to U FOC as long as U remain as their Private / Priority / Privilege Banker. Privileges might be the same for the Amex CC and Amex Charge Cards but benefits would differ; for example - Amex Charge Cards do get interest free days but it's not applicable on the CC unless U pay your bills in full. |

@Gary1981,
Oh so unless we hold the Platinum card, it makes no difference wherever we use the card cause we still get 2X points. Er.. how did U redeem 21000 points when U need 8500 points for $50?! Is there a special 'promo' ? |

@Gary1981,
Ooh! Ah well... U should haf mentioned it before - that would have saved U time and more explanation [read: more typing] *grins* Parkson is one of Amex's Platinum Partner. If U hold a Platinum Amex card (be it Charge or CC) and use it where the merchant is a Platinum Partner, U will get 10x points instead of the usual 2x points. Quite a few Platinum Partners too except none of which I frequent v much hence it's probably unlikely for me to even be able to make use of this benefit *sigh* |

@muscaa,
Yes I just hope it will continue to remain that way; that's one of the main reasons I decided to swap my Citibank for MBB Amex. |
