Just need to becareful. Also, don't trust others with your CC details. Transactions can't be done without the CCV code.

You can but there will be additional bank charges incurred; read the T&C properly.

Yeah I was going through the T&C at one point and realised the additional fees - I thought it was pretty stupid but looking at it from the banks' perspective; I guess the 1 main reason they keep you on those interest free plans is just so they can keep U as a member; with that there's a higher possibility of using their card

Unless it's a technical issue the usual CS rep should be able to answer ur calls. I once had problems logging on and when I called to check the problem, I was told my CC status was 'cancelled' hence by default my Online Banking account too was suspended.

That's surprising because U should still be rewarded ur points; perhaps it's not reflected because system's not updated?

Yea.. Citibank seems to give the 'Bonus' points only after the promotion has ended - i can't even keep track of it!

The points ur getting from MBB should be reflected because it is NOT Bonus points. I think there's nothing much to worry about - just wait for the actual statement to come. And no - CC better because that gives U a few more days to come up with the $

Was it U who said U needed/wanted a CC before U go overseas sometime mid-end of August?! If so, I thought U'd oredi put ur application in.

Should have taken the opportunity to put in the application during the MBB TreatFair - approval apparently was granted within 3hrs.

Thus far, CIMB & UOB does NOT charge additional for overseas transactions. MBB CS tells us there's no charges too but some forumers have been charged.

Oh. I think U read wrongly; I was referring to applications made during the MBB TreatFair that was held 2 weeks ago @ MV. Unfortunately that's over and done with now.

I wouldn't know how to help U out but I think U'd better start putting ur application in - is there a specific date U need the CC by?
