yeah the transaction details will appear after 1-2 days depends on how fast the merchant send it to citibank, but you can check the available credit limit instantly after the transaction

For anybody monitoring that Standard Chartered's 7% Petrol Rebate when using their Debit Card to pump petrol, I have known about this earlier, and would like to provide an input : The 7% rebate is only for RM 100 petrol pumped per month, and if you use more than RM 100 of petrol, the excess petrol pumped does not carry any rebate.

Thus, in other words, one can only claim RM 7 per month. sad.gif

I think no point-lah,...........

Yes ... you either pay via
1. Another Citibank account
2. Cheque (Mail, Drop-in @ Citibank)
3. Cash (Cash machine @ Citibank)

I think the most likely option would be the 1st one if truely no charge @ all. All other options will incur you some form of expenses. (e.g Cheque stamp duty, postage or even petrol to drive to Citibank)

yeah i think it's very troublesome to pay the citibank credit card as there are only 3 branches in KL, Puchong, Damansara at Klang valley. Even if you have citibank account, you still need to bank in money i suppose, unless your salary goes in straight to Citibank

@muscaa,
If U have cheque facilities and don't mind sending the cheque each month it's really not that troublesome. I've been doing it for the last 8 years biggrin.gif

R u talking about this?

Cash rebate with Debit Card is only given to petrol purchases made at petrol kiosk island pumps using merchant category codes (MCC) 5541 and 5542, subject to a maximum rebate of RM100 per Cardholder per month.

If max rebate is RM100, doesn't it mean we can buy rm1430 of petrol?

Need to check with SC to confirm
