Just have to spend some money on stamps and the trip to the mail box. If you look @ your monthly statement, there's a portion that is detachable on the upper side of the first page of your statement. (If I remember it correctly)

Insert that detached portion into the envelope provided in the statement. And off it goes ! Actually it's quite simple to pay any credit card bills these days if you use the GIRO facility.

..... Alternatively you can send the cash via me as I got account in Citibank. Hahaha smile.gif

Yeah very troublesome, gotta write cheque then put in the envelop&get RM0.30 stamp. My friend had bad experience with pos malaysia before, he lost his cheque while sending it for credit card payment.

I'm thinking to terminate my citibank clear card too, not much of benefit using it

yes, i agree that UOB card is not that attractive anymore.

I used it mainly for BHP petrol. We cant get rebate from BHP, only can use the cash rebate at carrefour or other mechant eg. Sushi king

Tried at sushi king once to get the rebate and the cashier told me that machine was not online. Couldn't rebate! vmad.gif

Somebody told me that Direct Access is better, can pump petrol with rebate in any petrol stations(the rebate will be used to reduce the total outstanding in the bill). Better if you got smile card from mobil/esso. Every 1000 points can redeemp RM15 petrol voucher

So i may follow your footstep to terminate UOB cards

I converted to e-statement last and citibank never sent me any paper statement after that. So I couldn't get any envelop or statement portion from citibank to send my cheque. Regretted it cry.gif

My MBB CL increase rejected cry.gif

Nevermind, if not enough to swipe, I'll just swipe Citibank CC. It's MBB who lose out on merchant commission fees.

@muscaa,
Since U've signed up for an e-statement, U'll have to find / use any other envelope. Get the add from ur statement; it should be there - I haven't received my Citibank bill so don't have the address on me.

Yes no point getting the RHB Travel Card just for the 5% rebate on petrol because those are just marketing efforts/temporary promotions for banks to attract new members biggrin.gif

@cute_boboi,
Did MBB tell U Y ur CL request was rejected? And were U asking for a temporary or permanent increase?

@Lawyer1,
Platinum cards are platinum cards lor - same usage as the rest; just with some additional benefits [it might come in handy but it's not like a must-have]. What would U like to know about Platinum Cards?! [Act, a lot of discussion on Platinum cards took place on Credit Card Thread V3 so perhaps U could check that out]

@bee993,
hye was just being helpful thumbup.gif

The oldest active card is 3 years ago. The latest card is just 2 months old (Petronas Visa). But I have been using MBB CC since year 2000, terminated when ask for AF. sweat.gif

No, they did not tell why, just say declined. unsure.gif I'm requesting for permanent increase, since average once a year, I'll hit very high CC usage due to unforeseen circumstances. Otherwise, currently just hover around 10% of CL only every month.

Did you inquire for the reason of being rejected?
