Yes ... MBB CC can pay bills online but the number of payees are very limited. For example, you can't use it to pay for your Astro or TNB bills.

You can get accces to CIMBClicks with just either DA and/or CIMB cc without the savings/current account. The annoying part is that should you have a current/savings account with CIMB at a later point of time, you need to do the CIMBClicks registration again and register a new sign on ID in order to get access to your banking details.

As is know Maybank need to charge 5% for EzyPay. How about other?? Any credit card provided 0% interest and no charges for processing fees ??

u need to wait until the bank send u the letter for collection of the security device, then u can go to branch to collect... it can be collected on the spot.... and on the same day u can register the device on ur IB in order to use ur IB.....

Added on October 13, 2008, 12:26 amwant to ask, i have been holding the hsbc card since the early jan this year, my credit limit now is 6k, if i am to apply for another card from hsbc, will the new card have new credit limit, or it will share with my existing 6k of credit limit?          

That is why i wanted to ask you guys, if there is away to waived those fees?

yeap, the times when noboday says No has since passed    If want to cancel, got to write in, everybank also the same. Yes, can keep the card but normally they will ask you to cut and send back to them

Er... Citibank Online works also with Safari *grins*  If I ain't mistaken the last time I tried it on Firefox it worked too!

If u want the upgrade take it - if I ain't mistaken the upgrade should come with 3 years maintenance of current fee [that would be based on ur existing Gold card] but most of us would call up the CS and ask for a waiver. 

If the waiver doesn't come through then just cancel the card lor   I'm pretty fed up with Citibank [damn, I keep talking about it] but I haven't had time to shift my spending to another CC *siGh*  Everytime the merchant doesn't accept my Amex, I go back to Citibank - looks like I need to clear all my points once and for all then only i'll start using HSBC or something

Btw for those using MBB CCs - is it possible to use ur CC via M2U to pay for utility bills? Or must those bills be paid only via an existing Savings Account? [oK.. I know I could google for that information but since i've been quite helpful around here and work's been crazy, I figured it's time someone spoon fed me! *grins*)

oKie dokIes... I guess I onli need to know if MBB CC takes payment through M2U for SYABAS, TNB, TM, Astro & Maxis.  These are my usual utility bills p/month and M2U doesn't allow me an option to use my Amex to pay for the bills; hence I wanted to know if it was the same if I used an MBB CC - if I could make these payments through a MBB CC I'll probably go apply for one - that way I can stop giving any business to Citibank!

As long as M2U can link our CCs to making these Utility payments it's all good.  I cannot understand Y MBB won't let me use my Amex to pay these bills - maybe they scared I got no $ to pay them afterwards? *grins*

Speaking of MBB credit card annual fee waiver. I currently own a MBB AMEX Gold Credit Card and just about 2 weeks ago i found out that MBB recently introduced a new credit card range called "Ikhwan" and it is free for life as long as you swipe the card 12 times/pa which i am sure is a piece of cake to everybody. Now i am thinking to convert my MBB Gold AMEX Credit Card to the MBB Ikhwan AMEX Gold Credit Card. I don't want to call their CS every year just to ask for fee waiver because it is such a waster of time.
It is based on your gross salary, which means your "gaji pokok".

The main "Ikhwan" page said so but if you click the FAQ page item numbered 22, it says that MBB Ikhwan AMEX earns 2X Treatpoints for every RM1 transacted. Anyways, it is better if you confirm with their CS first.
