also read somewhere that T2 skynet needs internet connection to work?? anyone can verify this coz I didn't hook up the internet tongue.gif

Ronnt, I'm using the Sony S350. I have the T2 skynet. When I first play the T2 on it. It too said it need to go online. but, you still cancel it. The loading of the main menu is slow. You can't start the movie from the version you wish to play. It only start until the liongate logo and hang. So, have to start from the chapter function. Just update the S350 with new firmware update, now it can start from the version movie I choose. No need internet connection for movie playback. only for bd live and special feature content. wink.gif

How to actually use BD Live? What will you get from it? I tried with Ironman but somehow not working. Already have internet connection and also allowed BD Live access to net from bdp setup but keep telling me I got no connection.

I'm sure my connection is ok since I can use Viera Cast to access U-Tube.

Hopefully a firmware update will fix this issue for your 52.

Does Pioneer update firmware regularly?

Morning Everyone.... Happy Happy Sunday!!!!!!

seems so many issues on 52, 350, 60,
semalam wanted to get the 52, dealer say, as a fren either you take the 71,or wait, for JVC 1st,
Also he advise me, if i can really tahan the itch, wait till end year, as Players will be less than 1K, he say so its because denon is discontinuing their DVD line, so what you expect on BD Players Price

now also below 1k what
BD60 biggrin.gif

don't think those new players scheduled to release will have significant difference with current one hmm.gif
Profile 2.0 is already the latest
On board audio decoders is nothing new
(if u bitstream to avr, no issue at all)
what else functions can they add?

if come with media player function then it's another story
below 1k is worth waiting biggrin.gif

The reason for the slow loading of T2 skynet edition was due to java script something. That what I heard. I guess Blu ray disc are advancing faster in tech than the bdp. wink.gif
