Anyway, I'll still get a dedicated blu-ray, as long as it can bitsream everything and has good loading times plus below RM3K, it's fine with me. Just waiting for more choices now and sadly, most of the models selling here are all outdated ones. |

With the right specs, I will only consider a standalone if it costs cheaper than RM2k. And I can actually get the Sony BDP-S350 for lower than RM2k actually, the only thing stopping me now is my empty wallet.  |

I hope they can include a dedicated scaler for standard dvds and 1080i BD contents, concerts or even documentaries. Most dedicated players can't deinterlace 1080i properly. If it's below RM2K, it's even better but have a bad feeling it won't happen that soon in Malaysia unless we have China made BD players flooding the market with super cheapo price. |

Of course kena ketam.. But even after that it's still below RM2k. Check the previous page. The price for the Sony BDP-S350 now is $346.50 only, calculate the shipping (by weight) at the ComGateway site, add the 10+15% taxes/fee. Still below RM2k.  |

Well Panny Bd30 is now very cheap so can also consider it. Yes, loading is slow but pq is good! I have post up a full review in my signature. BTW can Panny Bd30 play blu-ray buy from ebay or any website??? It stated code A for blu-ray region 3 for dvd. I intended to buy some on-line blu-ray disc. Which site can buy blu-ray disc? Tq very much for the advice.

ur can only play region A and free blurays, same goes for DVD, region 3 and free only

Still below RM2k. hmm about this 10+15% tax.. like some may know.. brunei has only a 5% tax for this things.. and if u digg dipper, brunei and msia is in a AFTA pack.. with a 0-5% tax for all goods purchased coming in and out of the country.. so. what if, order to brunei.. 5% tax, repackage, then ship to msia.. skip the whole 10+15% bs.. can o not? |
