QUOTE(aiman04 @ Aug 12 2008, 10:53 AM) The S300 (and any other old models actually) is known for that. Actually what is BD live arrr??? Read about it but still blur blur??? The S350 got encouraging reviews not only for loading time, but even PQ and AQ. And unlike BD30, it's got ethernet port and firmware upgradable to Profile 2.0 (BD-Live). |

Well Panny Bd30 is now very cheap so can also consider it. Yes, loading is slow but pq is good! I have post up a full review in my signature. BTW can Panny Bd30 play blu-ray buy from ebay or any website??? It stated code A for blu-ray region 3 for dvd. I intended to buy some on-line blu-ray disc. Which site can buy blu-ray disc? Tq very much for the advice.

Can Malaysia Panny BD30 play blu-ray bought from Amazon??? The Panny box stated region A 3, very confusing as region A is for 'ang moh' region. Email to Amazon say cannot play???

QUOTE(aiman04 @ Dec 11 2008, 01:02 PM) For the first time ever, these words on my receiver finally lights up. Oh La la!!! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Anfieldude, bitstream rocks! The audio actually feels crispier and adds more weight to it, like the sound stage opened up a bit. And picture seems to have better blacks and sharper than the PS3. It may all just be placebo, but what the heck, I'm enjoying this. Apisgogo and Htkaki, don't wait anymore. Get yours quick! Glau, I got it for US$222 from Amazon with free super-saver shipping to Apisgogo's USA re-shipping address. They re-shipped to me using DHL, the charge is lower than DHL's online price. You can ask Apisgogo for the re-shipping quotes. Piscesguy, I don't have a good analogue cables to test that yet, not interested to use the cap ayam one that came with the player. Rthj, yes, free 2 BDs but have to mail in and they will send to US address only. Currently got no one there staying long enough to do it, the offer ends February 2009 I think. Again, thanks to Apisgogo for making this happen. Added on December 11, 2008, 1:06 pmAnd the networking is so easy, just plug the cable and it's all done. Managed to download new firmware update in 10 minutes only. |

Price! That is the problem with BD hard copy. Too expansive........but it is nice to 'show off' to ur friend your BD collection. This is not possible with 'soft copy'.
But I do like to 'up-grade' to having BD 'soft copy' collection. |

QUOTE(mpyw @ May 15 2009, 11:36 AM) BDP-LX71 is entry level for the high-end machine. Wah! So confusing arrr? Low end for high end, high end from low end. BD-80 is the high-end level for the entry level machine. got it? He! He! But I do know that Pioneer BD is for the elite. I will go for the BD80 so it is much better then BD30? & how much? |

I myself gatal wanna get standalone BD cum CD Player n targeted midrange wan so got the LX52.. Mana tau got this issue. Will see if I can get the intermittent issue fixed. If not, will change for other model (BD320??) or other brand. Hi! Have u try to set up ur Sammy HDMI input setting? Auto, NTSC or Pal, 1080P input, 16.9? On Pioneer BDP HDMI output setting:- Audio enable ( bitsteam ) 1080P. On AVR HDMI setting 1080P ( if ur avr can up-scale ) or pass through, audio out on/off ( on u can hear audio on TV, off no sound from Tv ). Hope this info help. |
