Don't forget this reboot is considered an alternate universe from the original series's universe.
*
I'm kinda confused...

is Spock From The Future (aka Leonard Nimoy in this reboot) from the alternate universe you mentioned or the original series's?

I should word it more clearly perhaps :

Leonard Nimoy aka Spock Prime : From the Classic series reality/universe, and popped into this movie reboot (which is considered to be the divergent/alternate universe)

Zachary Quinto : New, younger Spock from the movie reboot series. (Alternate Universe)

Yes and Yes

The difference? I can't say. But you gotta experience it yourself. Since i'd rather IMAX 3D than other 3D (due to lighting issues)

not as entertaining as the previous one. Benedict C. is VERY VERY good though, I would watch it over again just because of him

amend to borg, resistance is futile....

i thought Spock Prime, assuming that he is from the classic series universe, died in TWOK

unless he was revived somehow...I haven't watched the classic series

I assume TWOK = The Wrath of Khan?

He was revived in the 3rd movie in the previous series; ST3 - The Search for Spock. tongue.gif

for IMAX hall, if the movie comes out in 3D then definitely you'll be watching it with glasses, if the movie doesn't support 3D then you'll be watching without the glasses (2D). icon_idea.gif i think laugh.gif

KHANNNNNN!!!!

Pretty entertaining movie. The visual is pretty good, although I think the final act dragged a little too long. Kirk's resurrection felt...cheap

i thought the director really want to kill that character
so that they can bring captain luc-picard in the next movie

btw im not a star trek fans,so dont blame me if luc-picard doesnt belong in the same timeline with the current character wink.gif

I prefer the 1st one. This one is ok but i feel there is too much dilly dally stuff. I was hoping for more Kirk & Kahn battles, like Kahn got his own ship then both of them try to out smart each others. This show wasted a lot of time at many scenes like bromance and other stuff.
