Actually the video is okay, it's from a cam-recorder at Blizzcon, just that the audio can get a little blur cause the speaker was talking through a mic and the soujnd quality didn't exactly record well.

About the stats thingy, I think what Loreki said its true.
If auto distribution of stats happened, then 1 might able to roughly estimate the HP of the opponent not counting the other catalyst/buff from item/spell.

That's quite a predictable PVP right? hmm.
Unless the additional attributes from items/spell adds up alot.

I see in gamespot that it's released 16/10/08. Are they trying to make a joke?

That may be true. But let's make a WoW reference. WoW uses that system but the PVP is FAR from predictable. I'm sure the items and skills will be much more important compared to before.

To me, I see that D3 is very much more dynamic compared to D2. In D2 PVP, most people just stick to a few types of characters and alot of them are pretty much the same. As in the same playing style. I don't know, maybe it's only me, but I feel that in D2 the player's skill, no doubt important, didn't really mattered much. Here in D3, the dynamicness and mixture of skills seem very dependent on the skill of the player.

I think I do, let's make it in laymen's term, it's like Street Fighter, if you can control a character, let say Ryu,very well, you can beat an over powered M Bison or Akuma. It sounds off topic but hope you can get the meaning.


Heck they did wrote a release date of 14/9/2008, and that was 3 days ago.

I remember I read from somewhere saying that the game will be released next August. I'm sure there will be a huge delay, but non the less I guy can always dream!

The fact that they have a 2 hour playable demo at BlizzCon shows that the game is finished to a certain level.

Until their Starcraft 2 sales reach target. Else it'll be more and more delay. Even if it is release next August, expect an expansion, definitely.

Lol, wizard looks cool IMO. I'm very sure they won't release it next year since news just came out that the game is far from complete. I expect a 2010 or 1011 release. But I'll be looking forward to it.

I somewhat agree on that. The orb is a little weird. But I think it can be taken off. Maybe it's her specialized weapon?

I would think the next one is a hunter. But I'm still waiting and hoping something really original comes up.

The orb is somewhat like a Wizard's staff in D2 I think. It's their weapon mastery.
I'm thinking maybe D3 will feature a Priest. LOL
But that is just what I think.
