Nice custom extension. But do becareful with the opening at the top of the wheel. Your hammy might be able to squeeze through. Just remember if the hamster head can go through then body have no problem going through also.
*
Well, i have seen her trying to climb the wheel but the wheel will turn every time she wanna climb it, so she couldn't reach the top except she knows how to use a rope... tongue.gif

QUOTE(irkuysm @ Aug 17 2008, 11:58 PM)
Wow,how do u attach the wheel at the wall?
*
Well, i make a hole to let the wheel's connector to squeeze in, hard to describe la, very easy only tongue.gif
If you have seen a Habitrail wheel before then i guess you will understand.

Haha, i saw that orange toilet sell by sandypiggy and the color is so NGAM , then bought it straightaway.
But she didn't pee in the toilet anyway, i put in FRISIAN clumping cat litter, she go pee at the floor in the new container. doh.gif

Yaya, thinking of attaching a casing fan on top of the cover but it's too loud, so i bought a cooling pad for my hammie from sandypiggy, she sleeps there sometimes, don't know she likes it or not... sweat.gif

Hehehe, you don't wanna learn that, bad for your health doh.gif

To be honest, i use my old soldering gun to make those holes, i have inhaled a lot of poisonous gas although i put a fan behind me when i did those holes.

Actually, you can use a sharp head screwdriver to poke holes, but that would destroy the shape of the container since it's elastic, it will become like WAVE, if you know what i mean.

1st: they should have balance diet, kuaci is only snack for them.

2nd: robo enjoy sandbath, and if u didnt provide it, the fur will be oily.

3rd: robo r timid, need passion and time to tame them

4th : they will breed and it can be worse if they r siblings.

Hi mDinie,

1st: Hamsters need a balanced diet to stay healthy, fed on kuaci alone won't provide them enough nutrition. You can feed them Prestige Hamster Food and Nutri Smoothie. You can get them from PetShack. Feed some fresh fruits and mealworms as treats.

2nd: Sand bathing is to remove extra oil on their fur to keep them dry and clean. So it is necessary.

3rd: It is normal for hamsters to run away from your hands as they are not used to you yet. Try feeding them food from your hands and they will get used to your smell. Pet them gently while they are in the cage and they will soon realise you will not harm them.

4th: Males and females do well in a cage. Never place two males or two females in a cage as this will lead to fight and they will seriously injure each other.

Hope this helps! biggrin.gif I advice you to do more research about these cute little creatures wub.gif

XiaoDan,
based on my experience, both males or both females can get along in the same cage without fighting..

well, my robos never fight before as far as i'm concern. maybe they are still too young to fight...

i know one is older a bit than the other...

another question, how do you check their gender?

my father bought them for me and he told me one is male and the other is female.

Ya of course.. Too much sand bathing will wash away the natural oil on their fur.
