Err.. Jamien.. I have no idea how to let my syrian Hammie gain protein.. I tried feeding mealworms to her but she's afraid of it. Other than boiled egg white, any other options?

Hi mDinie,
1st: Hamsters need a balanced diet to stay healthy, fed on kuaci alone won't provide them enough nutrition. You can feed them Prestige Hamster Food and Nutri Smoothie. You can get them from PetShack. Feed some fresh fruits and mealworms as treats. 2nd: Sand bathing is to remove extra oil on their fur to keep them dry and clean. So it is necessary. 3rd: It is normal for hamsters to run away from your hands as they are not used to you yet. Try feeding them food from your hands and they will get used to your smell. Pet them gently while they are in the cage and they will soon realise you will not harm them. 4th: Males and females do well in a cage. Never place two males or two females in a cage as this will lead to fight and they will seriously injure each other. Hope this helps! |

Ya of course.. Too much sand bathing will wash away the natural oil on their fur.

Your hamster won't grow as big as ours as our hamsters are Syrians. Your's is robo which is the smallest hamsters of all. Did you search in the net how to sex hamsters?

It's normal for a hamster to squeak. Hamsters squeak because they are either frightened, happy, cold or uncomfortable. Don't worry as it's normal for hamsters to squeak. Do they squeak frequently? Or just sometimes?

Hi abang,
I've read in my book that mustard leaves can upset your hamster's digestive system and causes impaction.. |
