too much voltage at SB/NB?

abit low on fps becos of 2gb ram and average proc. Currently at clock 690/1050, no lockups during the test, but got once like i think the monitor out of sync or wat u say no signal awhile then cont back in between the interval of 2 tests.

if you are gaming at 1680x1050 with some AA, most games can run smoothly over 30fps, and you wont even notice any difference between 2x8800gt or 2x4870...
extra fps over ~35fps is good for heavy scenes, and once that is taken care of, consistency of maintaining ~35fps is more important than who can gives the highest fps...

sorry cant do it for u guys coz both of my cards are already using 3rd party heatsink ..

I wonder how much space the S1 with its addon turbo fans would take..

the pic above shown its taken extra 2 & a half slot, using S1 & 120mm fan.

S1 has it's own fan addon which r slim.

Too bad 4850 sucks at crossfire.

Overall, 4 cards is worse than 3, and 3 cards is worse than 2 in almost everything except Unreal Tournament 3.

Check out the benchies for WiC and Crysis.

Its already been posted before.Its sucks because there is no driver to stabilize the cross fire yet.

Anyway, getting multi GPU is bad IMO, coz you'll can never ever get 100% out of the 2nd card.

I think Dual GPU is more than enough.
a GX2 or 4870X2 is enough.

a single 4850 is enough IMHO... provided that one does not go to super high resolution with AA and AF maxed out.

Its sucks, but still more scalable than SLi .
