but now got problem downloading the hotfix 8.6 .. my internet suddenly slow like hell tonite.. !!

i am so unlucky.. my system cant detect the crossfire .. i've tried the hotfix 8.6, the driver from cd already. Then i've tested the card 1 by 1 and 1 card failed to show any display... the fan is spinning, the startup LED also blinking, but no display....

i'm going to return this 1 card today...

no. the problem is with the card itself. the reason is it couldnt show any display when i plug the lcd to that card's output.. plus my board will produce "beeppbeeeep beeeeeeeep" sound.. haha

that's why i said i'm so unlucky. i never had faulty graphic card before especially a brand new one...

no la.. just 1 unfinished card who accidentally fall into my hand.. deng

i back from kl at 12am last nite, quick install it. couldnt detect cf. thought of driver issue, so download the hotfix 8.6 .. the internet was slow like snail.. so i watched euro until i fell asleep.. woke up this morning, try the card one by one and yes, definitely one card is back to heaven (or should i say hell? )
i am currently at my office, later will call the shop and ask for replacement.

yeah no stock.. but luckily my friend so kind wanna give his card to me 1st

it's not bcoz of it is sapphire. i've been using around 7 sapphire cards before, which is the 2nd most after HIS.. and the only gfx that went faulty when in my hand is the 7900gtx from leadtek.. (sorry my error before saying i never had faulty gfx).. but the issue with the gtx was common at that time..

yups.. stock cooler temp at default idle around 75 & 78c, load 88c

it's becoz the upper one i'm using water.. the bottom one using accelero s1.. too bad it's too thick and there's almost no gap between the fan and the psu below it(i'm using cosmos s, where the psu placement is at the bottom)

i have tested 3 cards, all idle around 75-78c in non aircond room.. load around 88c (during benching) ..

vantage extreme

4870 cf default
x3350 default
2gb crucial ddr3 default
vista ultimate 64bit

sorry cant do it for u guys coz both of my cards are already using 3rd party heatsink ..
