Stable bro! i think the core can at least shoot up to 740-750, but i dont have mofset sinks, any idea where to get mofset sinks? I cant find BGA ramsinks in lowyat also, only got the older, longer type.

i gonna run this artifact scanning until morning while i put my phone stopwatch on time which i can actually know if there is any artifact. Maybe i got a GEM here smile.gif

just let the artifact scanner on while u sleep, its easier this way..
btw, when i tried 700/2200 artifact scanning, i failed in 2 secs.. sweat.gif doh.gif
it seems indeed u have a rare ocable 4850 rclxms.gif

ive done b'marking my sys with 3dmark06.. most of time i got 14k point at 1280x1024 res.. hows that? some say i should get more tahn 15k point.. i dunno lah, myb coz im using p5ne-sli mobo coz the pcie ver 1.0?

Shhh let him enter the dark side smile.gif . Yup, 88gt sli beats gtx 280, except for non sli optimized games probably. If you go and get radeon 4000 series, you'll have to suffer bad performance scaling on crysis with crossfire. You're going to need a CF compatible mobo too.

What am I doing? Gah just enter the dark side brows.gif .

For the first time buyers and non SLIers though, 4850 and 4870 are good choices.

hurm haha, if u're using a single 88gt setup then yes it's better for u to upgrade to 4000series, but seeing that u already has a 88gt sli setup then, it's just not the worth the money,
but if really wanna upgrade, then u have to buy a new cf mobo, 2 x 4870 so u can cf them,
this setup can give noticeable performance increase compared to ur current setup now

played team fortress 2 for 1 hour, no hang up or artifact. I think should be fine, normally if OC over, play team fortress 2 will hang up with loop repeated sound based on my experience.

is 4850 hardly ocable at all, or am i just the unlucky one who bought the most unocable 4850? sweat.gif
