u guys play games (especially crysis) using 4850 won't crash ? or hang cas temperature high ?
i using stock coolr playing games tat day. crash after half hour le.

700mhz/1100mhz is stable, just now don dare put it on artifact scanning full time becos it runs until 61-63c max. BUt when run 3dmark vantage, only 51c only. Artifact scanning stresses the card more compare to vantage

is it posibble tat 4850 n 4870 price will increase?

what's the psu requirement for 4850? heard that there are flashing bios which scale down the temp.

i guess the price will maintain the same for few months. cas not yet launched new card like 5800series.haha.
the price is cheap enough to compete with NVIDIA


450watt true power is enough already. mabe will release latest bios whihc included the fan control. since the fan only running at 30% of speed

oo, maybe it's because of heat issue,
btw, ill never test the stock cooler temp, i changed the hsf to s1 immediately after i got the card

dun worry 63c load for 4850 is still considered very good, just scan for artifact to confirm the stability, i tried artifact scanning @ 700mhz and it failed in 29 minutes,
so im quite disappointed with the ocability of 4850 rite now coz im used to ocing my 88gts 640 and 88gt like mad before

ben, my 4850 running on atitools already 45minutes no error, btw, wat is the artifact scanning option u using? U slide to less overclocking or more overclocking, i am on the less overclocking which will detect more artifacts.

or, just buy any 12cm fan will do

when u put accelero s1, u need a fan to blow it to reduce the temp I got myself xigmatek fan. Seem like abit loud tho lolz..

the xigmatek fan spins @ 1500rpm rite? coz it looks identical to the xigmatek red scorpion fan

I dont also lolz. Just grab accelero s1, cable tie and a 120mm fan. I am now running at 39c idle 53c MAX LOAD artifact scanning. Maybe run 3dmark i only get 43c
