nope, unless u mod it,
but the 2 pwm hsf that are bundled with the s1 is for x1950pro, and x1900xt only...
so u have to get creative la, either u mod the pwm hsf given, or u can just buy extra bga ram sinks to cool the mosfets

Four 4870x2 is going to be the ULTIMATE Crysis killer. Too bad Crysis doesn't support crossfire lol.

Those developers better start updating crysis (or maybe ati better start updating the drivers?) or ppl will be very pissed off.

Indeed, a lot of crossfire 4xxx series spotted. Scalings are impressive and the cards are cheap, except for crysis anyway, that's why (2 4850s for the performance of gtx280 or better, who wouldn't want that?).

Crysis shows deterioration. and i confirm this result.

I am unsure if this is just another of Nvidia's dirty tricks (like Assassin's Creed and Age of Conan both being Meant to be Played games) or just poor drivers or just something up with Crossfire implementation.

Not sure what review u reading le. Even Anandtech confirms this result if I am not mistaken.

get 8.7 beta driver

i hear a lot of silly things about HD4870x2

but lets think about it for a second

if two hd4870 uses 4x6pin pcie

that means HD4870x2 is either 2x6pin pcie + 1x8pin pcie
or 2x8pin pcie...

do u have psu's that can handle that??
not many ppl here does..

think about it..
judging from the hd3870 crossfire 2x6pin to hd3870x2 using 1x6pin+1x8pin

this time u cant plug a 6pin into a 8pin tongue.gif for hd4870x2

ps solved the driver issue

haha even single 4870 power consumption comes close to the gtx 280, i wonder how much 4870x2 would consume, laugh.gif
